Yesterday, our Year 12 students took part in 'The Cube Challenge' - a fun, team building exercise to encourage meeting new people and making new connections. Students were put into teams where they had to complete a total of 8 different challenges.
The tasks included 'Time Freeze', where students had to try to successfully stop a stopwatch after 10 seconds, 'Direction', where they had to walk along a straight line whilst blindfolded, 'Cylinder', which involved bouncing a ball into a container in the middle of the cube and much more!
It was wonderful to see our students working together, using their initiatives to beat The Cube, communicating and all getting involved and having a go. A perfect end to such an incredible first week at Hoe Valley Sixth Form!
