It’s show week!

Our students have been working hard on this wonderful production. Book to see them this Wednesday and Thursday at 7pm.

Current and future Sixth Form students have been finding out about careers in film on a Work Ready trip to Pinewood Studios. In soundstages filled with stormtroopers, batmobiles and countless other props, extras and industry figures they were able to talk to filmmakers about how to get into the screen industries. The group also made key contacts that we'll invite back to Hoe Valley for our own Careers Fair in March.

Congratulations to all of our students who have achieved 100% attendance this half term!

We will be celebrating their success with hot chocolates at break time. It was Year 9's turn this morning ☕

Walking past Mr Singh's room at break time, we heard rock music and laughter...

We popped in to find students from all year groups logging in to Times Tables Rockstars to practice their Maths and earn house points!

Last Friday, our Year 11 Latin class visited University College London to see a performance of Virgil's Aeneid in Latin (with helpful English captions to follow along!) - 'The Song of Arms and a Man'. All in all, a fantastic and inspirational trip!

Last night, we celebrated the success of the current Year 12 students at our annual GCSE Awards Evening. Congratulations to all! It was lovely to have the opportunity to catch up 💚

This week, we will be selling poppies to support The Royal British Legion. ❤️

Some of our older students will be selling them around school.

You can also purchase poppies and other Remembrance accessories via the School Reception.

Mrs Kelly's Y9 Art students made Papel Picado for Miss Lopes and her Y9 Spanish students as a celebration of Día De Los Mu***os on 2nd of November!

Things were looking a little spooky at lunch time! 🎃

Chef Paul and our incredible catering team put on a delicious spread of Halloween themed treats - we LOVED the ghost shaped pastries!

We are delighted to have our students and staff back in school after a well deserved half term break!

After running our first ever after school PS5 FIFA tournament, it came down to the main final last night: 7L (PSG) v 8N (Real Madrid)

After an exciting game with some super goals, we are proud to announce the winners...7L!!

Final score = 12-10 ⚽

Year 11 all had a practice interview on Wednesday with a local employer to help develop their ‘work ready’ skills for the future. We are super proud of them all and huge thanks to all the employers who gave up their time!

We loved visiting Year 8 in their drama lesson, where they had created gripping news reports on a sighting of a ghost! 👻

Beyond proud of our Year 11 Netball Team who participated in the Surrey Netball Tournament at Charterhouse School yesterday. 💚

What a fantastic day our Year 8 students had yesterday at Brooklands Museum! They took part in a STEM Workshop packed with innovation and inspiration across aspects of science and engineering. They also heard from some incredible guest speakers, including Professor Brian Cox!
