🕸️ Mission: Climb Through the Spy Web! 🕵️

Our Munchkins took on a very important mission as they made their way through our tricky spy webs. 🕸️✨

We created a web of string for the children to carefully climb under, step over and manoeuvre their way through without getting caught. 👀

Our younger Munchkins got creative with some colourful chalk painting. 🌈🖌️

The children explored a range of different colours while discovering a new texture and way of making marks. They had plenty of space to move, reach and create, producing some wonderful large scale artwork together. ✨

Exploring art on a larger scale encourages children to use their whole bodies as they make marks, supporting coordination, physical development and early creative expression. It also gives them the freedom to experiment without a set outcome. 💚

💦 Fine Motor Skills Alert! 💦

Ready, steady, spray! 💪💧

The children put their fine motor skills to the test using spray bottles filled with water to move empty cups along strings we had hung up. As they squeezed and sprayed, they watched closely to see how the water made the cups travel along the string. 👀✨

This simple activity was packed with learning, strengthening little hands and fingers, developing hand eye coordination and exploring cause and effect through play. 🖐️🧠

Of course, we couldn’t resist turning it into some exciting cup races too. Who could spray their cup all the way to the end? 🏁💦

From shop to fire pit. 🛒🔥

Our children worked together to plan their special fire pit tea, taking a trip to the local shop to choose the ingredients before returning to prepare and enjoy their delicious treats around the fire. 🫖✨

This experience encouraged teamwork, communication, decision making and independence, while creating wonderful memories together in the great outdoors. We love providing real life learning opportunities that build confidence and develop important life skills. 💚

Our children took on a fun outdoor challenge by balancing footballs on branches and sticks, developing their agility, coordination and balance along the way. Every attempt encouraged problem solving, perseverance and teamwork as they worked together to complete the challenge. 🍃

Learning through play is all about building confidence, trying new things and having fun in the great outdoors. 💚

We swapped the nursery for paintbrushes and pottery for a little while and had the best time together. 🎨✨

Our team enjoyed a relaxing pottery painting evening, taking the opportunity to unwind, have a laugh and spend quality time together outside of work. Moments like these help us build even stronger relationships, which shine through in everything we do for the children and families at Munchkins. 💚

A wonderful evening filled with creativity, conversation and plenty of colourful masterpieces. We cannot wait to see everyone’s finished creations. 🏺💚
