🍰 Still planning to donate some home-baked goodies for the London to Brighton bike ride stall?

To make things a little easier, PTA volunteer Lou Blake has kindly offered to collect cake donations at her house until 1pm on Saturday.

If you’d like to donate some bakes but can’t make the school drop-off, get in touch and let Lou know what you’ll be dropping off. She’s based on Green Road, near the War Memorial - please message Lou directly or DM us and we’ll pass the message along.

A huge thank you to everyone who has baked, pledged or donated so far – every cake helps us raise more funds for our children! We need to make sure we have enough baked goods to stock the stall all day so we are so grateful for everyone who is able to donate something! 💙

The London to Brighton bike ride is this Sunday, giving the PTA a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for all our children.

We’re looking for donations of cakes, cookies and traybakes to help keep the riders fuelled and our stall well stocked.

If you can help, please get involved – together we can make this our most successful fundraiser yet! 💙

🚴‍♂️ 16 DAYS TO GO! 🚴‍♂️

The London to Brighton Bike Ride is just 16 days away, and we still need a few volunteers to help on the day to sell refreshments, especially for the 1:00pm–3:30pm shift. Can you help? Sign up to volunteer via the link in bio.

🍰 This year is all about the cake! 🍪
Please also sign up to donate cakes, cookies, or other baked treats so we have plenty to sell on the day. Every penny raised helps secure funding for next year’s school activities and opportunities for our children.

Can’t make it on 21st June? There are still opportunities to help at Wivelsfield Village Day on 11th July, with volunteer slots available for the BBQ and drinks stall.

A reminder to please pledge your bakes for the London to Brighton refreshment stop on 21st June.There are a couple of volunteer slots to fill from 3pm too 🙏

These riders are cycling 55 miles and they need to Beat the Beacon, once they leave the Macs Farm checkpoint. That is why we are asking for home bakes like flapjacks, brownies, lemon cake etc with some shop bought items - we are known for our homemade bakes and we want to reach our 1300 portion target!

Bake Sale Tomorrow 🍰

The PTA will be running a bake sale after school tomorrow (Monday 20th April).

There will be a great selection of cakes and treats available, so please do come along if you can! All money raised goes to the PTA to continue raising funds.

We’re asking for a £1 suggested donation via Parent Pay with all money raised going to support the PTA 💛

Today, our Year 1–6 children headed to the playground with Team Rubicon to learn some skateboarding skills — and what a fantastic time they had!

It was so much fun watching the children begin to master the art of skateboarding and seeing the huge smiles on their faces throughout the day. There were a few wobbly starts, but by the end of the session, their confidence had grown so much and they were doing brilliantly!

A big thank you to Team Rubicon for such an exciting and engaging experience.

And a very special thank you to our wonderful Wivelsfield Primary PTA for funding this amazing event — we truly appreciate your support! 💙

🛹 Skateboard Lessons 🛹

Something to look forward to after the Easter holidays! We’re excited to bring skateboard sessions to school on **14 April** – fully funded by the PTA 🙌

✅ Build confidence
✅ Improve balance
✅ Have fun

Open to **Years 1–6**, with short, inclusive sessions taking place during the school day. All equipment is provided – just come in your PE kit!

A big thanks for all of your support that has helped raised funds to enable us to put on this activity for our children.

✨ Thank You! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our school disco last week! 🕺💃

We’re so pleased to share that together we raised an amazing £300 for the PTA 👏

We hope all the children had a fantastic time dancing, laughing, and making memories with their friends. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces!

A special thank you also goes to all of our incredible volunteers who helped organise, set up, run the event, and tidy up afterwards. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️
