At -40 degrees Celsius, moisture emitting onto eyewear freezes immediately so a solution to eliminate mask leakage was needed. Filterspec’s integrated approach also enables a much improved face fit. This assists companies that must face fit test their employees with respiratory protective equipment as required now by the Health and Safety Executive.

Breast cancer can affect anyone.

💗 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

How to wear a helmet safely with long hair?

The key is ensuring the helmet is adjusted correctly to achieve a secure fit and maintain the intended level of protection.

Respirable Crystalline Silica (RCS) is often referred to as the "new asbestos". Found in materials such as engineered stone and construction products, it becomes dangerous when disturbed, creating microscopic dust particles that can be inhaled deep into the lungs.

Long-term exposure to RCS can lead to silicosis, an irreversible and potentially fatal lung disease. It is also associated with COPD and lung cancer.

Protecting workers starts with effective control measures. Water suppression methods, on-tool extraction and good workplace practices should always be used to reduce airborne dust levels. Where respiratory protection is required, suitable RPE can provide an essential layer of defence.
