Breaking news!! Dreamworks TV have approved our idea and we will be partnering with them again!!! 🥳🥳🥳

I literally cannot believe it! Us with this global MASSIVE brand!! ♥️

Then yesterday we were invited to Universals global showcase event where we got to see all the major new movie releases for 2027/28 and to now chat about which ones/how we can get involved in them…..! This is an actual dream come true! 😍😍

Working with massive brands has always been on our ‘Dinky Artist Goals List’ but I never thought it would be Universal!!😂🤩🤯

I’m so excited to tell you more about the plans and what we are going to do! Initially we’ll be working with Gabby’s Dollhouse TV series on Netflix AND the brand new Doozies Doghouse(!! 🐶) and then we’ll now start conversations about how we can collaborate with these major movie releases next year!! 🎥

Running a small business is definitely not easy. There are plenty of days when you wonder what on earth you’re doing…..

But then you get days like this!

So go after the opportunity that feels too big, send the email, make the pitch, ask the question!

Your children draw hundreds of pictures and every now and then, there’s one you just can’t throw away isn’t there!❤️

This little family portrait came to us as a photo of a drawing on a piece of paper, We carefully edited it, keeping all those brilliant little details exactly as they were, and engraved it onto one of our wooden chopping boards! 🎁

Taking something they’ve drawn with their tiny hands and turning it into something that can live in your home for years and years🥹

So before you clear out that pile of drawings… you might want to keep a few😉❤️

September!! You absolute lunatic!!😂🤣 (slide 20!!!🤣🤣🤣)

We thought moving the entire business home might keep us busy enough this month…..Apparently not!!🤪

We’ve launched things, changed things, pitched things, made hundreds of things, run 10K, squeezed in a few days by the sea and somehow managed to eat a proper lunch most days! A MASSIVE improvement on our previous diet of tea and gross Tesco express meal deals! 😂

Oh, and apparently it’s nearly Christmas, so there’s absolutely no time to recover from any of it!🎄

It’s been chaotic, exhausting, exciting and an absolutely brilliant month! 🥳 💪

We’re settling into our new normal, have some VERY exciting things in the pipeline and are heading into our busiest time of year! Woohooo! 🎄

Anyway, that’s enough ‘relaxing’ for one month. October, let’s have you! 🚀❤️

P.S. Does anyone else feel like September lasted approximately 10 days?! 😂

We didn’t just make the T-shirts. We put them on! ❤️

Our relationship with the Olivia Kazimiera charity started last year when we were asked to make the merchandise for their very first event…..

We had met Olivia’s lovely family through the Creative Factory 🎨 and when you know the story behind this event, it’s impossible not to want to help.

This year Personalised Workwear & Merch made the T-shirts again, we added caps, made the hi-vis for the brilliant volunteers and marshals, and hosted the merchandise through our website — taking care of the ordering and fulfilment and passing the profit back to the charity.

There were also two very special little T-shirts for Olivia’s girls saying “Running for Mummy”. I found those emotional enough to make. Seeing the girls actually wearing them was something else. 🥹

And this year we wanted to do more than make things!

So Annabelle and I ran it too❤️

Seeing hundreds of people at Cornbury Park, all there because of an idea Olivia had before she died, was incredibly special and all there to raise money for her brilliant charity 💕

We’re very proud that our business gets to play a small part in things like this 🏃

My legs this morning are very stiff! 😂 Maybe we should have done the 5K rather than the 10!😂

Wow the rollercoaster!! 🎢 But what a journey these last 5 years have been!!

I feel like we are only just getting started now! We’ve learnt SO much and are so excited for the future 🚀

‘Pivoting’ is the only word to describe this journey and who’d have thought or planned the last 5 years to look like they have!

Today marks 100 days until Christmas… and their little drawings are about to become part of it 🥹🎄

Each year we launch our Christmas shop on the 100 days to go and this year is no different!…… Our Christmas 2026 Collection is officially LIVE! ❤️🥳

This year we wanted to create more than just Christmas presents. We wanted to make the things you’ll bring out every single year and remember just how little they were when they drew them!🥹

Their wonky Christmas trees, their funny little people, their backwards letters, their precious handwriting ❤️

We’ve turned them into brand NEW ultra personalised Christmas keepsakes — including Christmas tableware, engraved serving boards, festive tea towels, w**e boxes and more!🎄

Because one day their drawings won’t look like this anymore… but you can keep this little stage of them forever 🥹

It’s been a week of having the business being run from house! 🏡 Here’s a little honest update…..!

It’s definitely taking some adjustment…. But it’s working! And it’s all been throughly tested this week with a great Personalised Workwear & Merch order thrown into the mix and it all went without a hitch! 🙌

The biggest perk so far though of moving the business home is defo working in slippers! 😂

AND the huge amount of money we are saving - which I will do a whole post on!

I am a little concerned about Christmas though, as you can imagine Christmas is our most busiest time and it’s really not big in here but we’ll work it out! 🎄

Talking of Christmas….!!! We always launch our Christmas shop 100 days to go and that is next Wednesday 16th September! ☃️

Well, it’s happened!! Dinky Artist is officially back home 🏡 back to where it all began!

The move couldn’t have gone any better tbh, 1 slight hiccup but otherwise it was seamless and all that worrying about how things were going to fit into the house were fine in the end! 💪

Every machine is in and working and in its new home and even though this most definitely wasn’t part of the plan in the slightest it feels ok!

It’s not ideal having this massive business in our house BUT I will do a post on exactly how much we are saving as the numbers are crrraazzzzzy!!!!! 💰

We give the keys back to Bladon at 10am tomorrow and even though it partly feels like we failed, I know staying there would be a bigger failure - making these hard horrible decisions is all part of the process and my god we’ve learnt a lot from this!!

So here we are, back home! I will do a tour on stories next week so you can see how we’ve fitted everything in (thank god I decided to have an extension built 8 years ago!!😂)

We are up and running and already making your orders and incredible gifts from here so our normal turnaround time still stands! Our new Royal Mail collection starts tomorrow so we are rockin and rollin!! 🎁

You never quite know how things are going to work out but we are super excited for the future! 💕
