-Your wellbeing.
-How to manage difficult emotions.
-How to stop strug

gling with stress and overwhelm.
-Gaining the resilience and confidence to advocate for your needs.
-Taking action on your goals and dreams.
-Growing your confidence and self esteem.

Testimonials

“I reached out to Sue when I was in a tremendously difficult place and mentally and emotionally exhausted with my relationships, my work and life in general. I felt stuck and was unable to move anything forward due to guilt, shame and a lack of self care. In the space of time I had with Sue coaching me, she helped me to understand my own strengths, desires, weaknesses and how to convert the energy that was holding me down and pinning me to a negative outlook, into a wealth of self understanding, self care and determination to take the steps I wanted to in all aspects in my life.”

“I would 100% encourage working with Sue to help yourself in any area you’re finding it hard, as I found myself extremely receptive to her methods, and felt a great sense of reward and optimism, that this coaching gave me the tools to grow. 2019 has been one of the best years I’ve experienced so far in my life and so much of it is thanks to Sue’s Life coaching”

Did you have a restful festive break, or do you need another break to recover?
If you feel guilty about saying no to stuff, or setting boundaries for others, it might be a good time to make some changes.

For many of us, saying “no” doesn’t come easily. We’ve been taught that kindness means saying yes , to help, to please, to show up - even when we’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or quietly falling apart inside. It gets worse during the festive season. Everyone is busy. There’s too much going ...

If you're starting to prepare your New Year's Resolutions, I have a suggestion. Stop it.
Whilst I'm the first to admit I love a 'to do' list in a new notebook - instead of striving for things we'll have forgotten by March, why not start the year by being more present?

As the pace of modern life quickens, it’s easy to slip into autopilot. We rush from one task to another, checking emails, scrolling through news, juggling commitments, all while our attention is scattered. Many of us move through our days half-present, half-exhausted, and unsure how to slow down. ...

Feeling overwhelmed by Christmas already? With so much to do and so little time, it's easy to feel guilty for taking time for yourself. By slowing down you can be fully present for yourself and others, and reconnect with what really matters to you.

It’s nearly Christmas! Season of getting trampled whilst shopping, stressing about making everything perfect, saying yes to things you don’t have time for and running around like a turkey making a bid for freedom. In our society, busyness and productivity are praised and rewarded. A full calenda...

Does taking care of your wellbeing feel like too much work?
Something else to add to your 'to do' list?
It doesn't have to be.

When we talk about wellbeing, the word often conjures soft images — scented candles, green smoothies, morning yoga, and the promise of inner peace if only we find the right routine. While those practices can support us, true wellbeing runs much deeper. It isn’t something you can purchase, schedu...

Want to find out more about mindfulness and how regular practice can help your mental health and wellbeing?
Here's my latest article

Mental health challenges don’t usually appear overnight. They often build quietly, through stress that goes unaddressed, emotions that get buried, and lives that move too fast for reflection. In a world that encourages constant doing, productivity, and performance, it’s easy to lose touch with h...

I've seen a few posts recently about coaches blurring the lines between coaching and therapy, and I agree that it's wrong. Without the proper training and supervision, coaches that attempt to work in therapy can cause real harm.

A conversation I had last week make me think about the place of coaching in mental health support. How coaching can be used before someone reaches crisis point, as an early intervention. Before stress and overwhelm become burnout.

If people viewed taking care of their mind and wellbeing in the same way as looking after their health and fitness, perhaps they wouldn't reach crisis point at all.

How are you looking after your wellbeing this week?

More people than ever are quietly struggling with their mental and emotional well-being. Why is this? The pace of modern life is accelerating. We’re constantly connected, always “on,” and under pressure to meet endless demands, at work, at home, and within ourselves. It’s no surprise that st...

When I was little I was told that girls should be seen and not heard. Inferring that I should blend into the background and not bother anyone.

Lots of people were told things like this. The problem is that now, years later, when you need to advocate for yourself, you feel like you're bothering people or being a nuisance.

Many people worry that if they start speaking up and asking for what they need, others will view them negatively. This is just one of many misconceptions people have about self-advocacy.

I've written about this in my latest blog post. You can read it here. https://www.liveworkbreathe.com/articles/common-misconceptions-about-self-advocacy

When I was little I was told that girls should be seen and not heard. Inferring that I should blend into the background and not bother anyone. Not take up too much space. The problem with not taking up space is that it’s suffocating. You end up hiding parts of yourself and only half showing up. An...
