Received a picture today of a customers knocker activity, they have attached it with Velcro to the wall so they can change the numbers , what a great idea 😊👍🏻

What do your staff photos look like? All identical photos, clones of each other ?

Or are photos as authentic as the individuals who work at your setting ?

Shouldn’t the photos on your team board reflect the unique people who work at your setting, instead of looking identical and exactly the same?

Parents and carers love your setting because they the like and trust the people who work there.

The crazy ones, the quiet gentle ones. The funny and quirky ones. The daft and silly ones.

Where are these personalities reflected when looking at corporate style ( identical ) staff photos. All in matching uniforms and with the same sweet smile, same pose and same facial expression ?

Shouldn’t staff boards celebrate the individual instead?
Our authentic self!

Let’s face it, We talk about children being seen, heard and understood WHAT about the adults who work in Early Years ?

Are they recognised and feel like they BELONG?

So instead of corporate clone like staff photo boards, let’s see images of INDIVIDUALS, with genuine smiles and represent who they truly ARE. 🙌🏼

Photos with the dog or partner, doing a mud run or looking relaxed and at ease.
Photos with Micky Mouse ears or on holiday etc

A photo that we are proud of, happy with and shows WHO we ARE !

Not some identical clone of the person in the next frame on the wall 😨

(This is a reshare post )♥️

Welcome back everyone and a special welcome to all our new parents and children. For some families today was your first day and we know how hard it is to leave your children in a new environment.
Having said that after some tears from both the children and their parents.
The children settled really quickly and were happy to play and make friendships.
We look forward to settling and getting to know your children in the next few weeks.
If you need to contact us please do so by email [email protected]
You can telephone us on 01376 511194 or talk to us in person in the morning.

We have been holding a sponsored obstacle course to raise money for CRY.
This has been taken place all this week. Videos of the events will be posted onto Tapestry.

A note From Wendy & Leon
Our daughter Kayleigh was just 23 years old when she suffered two Cardiac Arrests whilst on holiday on the 11th July 2017.
Despite the hospitals best efforts Kayleigh passed away three days later.
Kayleigh was a fit and healthy young lady with no outward signs of ill health. It was found that Kayleigh had an undiagnosed heart condition called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which if she had been screened would of led to the condition being managed and treated.
In trying to find out how this could of happened we came across this charity Cardiac Risk in the Young who supported us answering questions at this difficult time.
We set up a Memorial Fund in memory of Kayleigh to which we have raised money to hold screenings and to donate Defibrillators.
This has given us comfort to know that we can help other families.
Thank you for taking part in the sponsored obstacle course.
