🎨 Collage Making! 🎨
The children in the Stingray room have been using gluing, sticking and painting to create their very own collages today. We have loved seeing each unique piece of artwork they have created.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
Ensure that each child’s individual needs are met and a high standard of professional care and education is delivered in a caring, safe and secure environment in which all children can play, learn and develop.
Observe, assess and plan an interesting, stimulating and challenging range of early years activities which supports each child’s individual learning and development needs and abilities.
Engage as a professional member of the team, exhibiting a flexible attitude and willingness to develop new skills
Ensure that company policies and procedures are read, applied, regularly reviewed and adhered to by all
Follow risk assessments diligently and report all health and safety matters to management.
Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

🍁 Autumnal Art! 🍁
The preschoolers in the Pelican room have been participating in some autumnal themed artwork. Using beautiful autumnal coloured paint to create observational pictures of pinecones, acorns and leaves as they learn about the change in seasons.

🌈 Painting the Rainbow! 🌈
The children in the Stingray room have been using their fine motor skills to mark make colourful rainbow pieces of art work. Uniquely they used forks to mark make with the paint, observing the patterns they make and the ways in which they mix the colours.

🚓 Exciting visit from the Police! 🚓
We have been really excited to have a visit from one of our fantastic parents who shared with us about their career in the police. Allowing the children to sit in the police car, try on the different police uniforms and explore the buttons and radios with in the police car. This was such a fantastic hands on learning experience!

👨‍👩‍👧 Small World Play! 👨‍👩‍👧
The adults in the Pelican room have thought through and created some outstanding small world play scenes which has inspired beautiful play and conversations between the children as they take on a character in play. Working towards the nursery curriculum to develop friendships and become confident communicators.

🎨 Clingfilm Painting! 🎨
The babies in the Jellyfish room have been mark making in a new creative way by painting clingfilm wrapped around the table legs. Giving a new texture and perspective to painting as the babies used paintbrushes and painted hand prints to mark make on this see through material. Observing how the colours mixed together as well as enjoying seeing their friends through the clingfilm as they all got creative!

💐 Flower Bouquets! 💐
One of our outstanding apprentices planned a beautiful activity for their tutor to observe. The children loved the opportunity to decorate their own cardboard flower vases before using their fine motor skills to push the stems of colourful flowers in to their vase. Creating beautiful flower bouquets to take home to share with their families.
