Each of our Second Steps Day Nursery settings is full of creativity, curiosity, and joyful moments, and now you can see even more of what our little learners get up to every day.

Some more pictures from our special visitors from Essex Fire Service last week. We all got our own sticker featuring the three amazing fire service dogs we met, along with watching a live search demonstration from an award winning search and rescue dog. We even got one of the Rivenstars team to dress up in a real firefighter uniform too! 🚒

The Essex SEND Local Offer Roadshow

Who can attend?
Parents and carers of children aged 0 to 25 are invited to join! Come and grab a tea or coffee and speak with practitioners from education, health and social care as well as local support services. No diagnosis is needed to access support at a roadshow!

What do they need to know about the day?
It takes place from 9.30am to 12.30pm
Roadshows are usually quieter after 11.30am
Drop-in whenever suits – no booking required.

This webinar will cover various topics around nutrition and how parents can support their children at home and in the setting.

🐥 Special Chick Visit 🐣

Yesterday, we had a lovely morning spending time with some chicks that a kind Rivenstars mummy brought in for the children to meet. The children thoroughly enjoyed looking at them, gently stroking them and even holding them. It was such a wonderful hands-on experience for everyone, how luck are we at Rivenstars to have these amazing opportunities 🌟
