Sunflowers loved exploring this tuff tray activity. Digging, sorting and saving the worms! Using different tools to dig, pick up and collect the worms. Categorising sizes, using comparison skills and colour matching skills to sort and save the worms. Using those tiny hand muscles, improving fine motor skills and getting those hands ready for writing

We took a trip with our friends at Buttercups Childminding to comb Hatfield Forests floor. Looking for crunchy leaves, searching for colours, searching for sizes and looking at the pretty patterns. They enjoyed pressing their leaves onto the templates to make beautiful natural wreaths. We sang nursery rhymes under the trees, dancing in the crunchy leaves. We sang to the ducks on the lake and enjoyed playing with sticks, stones and of course MUD!

A rare day of having 2 sunflowers so we of course had babies everywhere with these two 🤭 showing great care giving understanding. Feeding, changing nappies, brushing hair and brushing teeth, cuddling, burping and rocking babies, before tucking them all up in their beds. Even choosing snugglies for them all. Showing an understanding of the world around them, showing love, caregiving and practicing our sharing skills
