Essex Dance Studios turns SIX today.!!!🎈🎈

Although the dance school has been running for many years with various owners it’s been 6 years today that it has been registered as E.D.S and with Katie running the school..

Not sure where the time has gone but what another successful year we have had.

We had some great exam results in our I.S.T.D exams and another successful choreographic/awards evening with some amazing routines.

E.D.S is grateful for all it’s beautiful students and great parents that help to support the dance school and make the school a fun friendly extended family.

Only a couple more weeks before we all return to the studio for start of term.

I am currently out of the U.K but will be in contact with you all soon and will be replying to emails once back.

☀️SUMMER CAMP☀️

What a fabulous fun day we have had.

We have danced, sang, played games, performed some acro, made dream catchers, made a diamanté magnetic bookmark and even played a little bit of just dance on the Wii.

6 hours whizzed by and everyone was so polite and well Behaved. It was lovely to see everyone work well together and make friends.

Thanks to Alex for being our helper today. The younger ones loved having you there.

🕺ONE DAY CAMP🕺

Looking for something to do for the summer holidays but can’t commit to a whole week.

This is running Monday 3rd August 9:00-3:00 in our studios on Collingwood Road,Witham.

6hours of fun filled with dance, drama, singing, games and arts and crafts.

Suitable for ages 5 upwards.

It is also where we say our goodbyes to Miss Alice who has sadly decided it’s time for her to leave E.D.S.
We have enjoyed having her on the team and loved watching her beautiful choreography. She has stepped up and taken on classes that she may not of been keen to do but did so with ease and challenged herself.
We all wish Miss Alice the best for the future.

The summer holidays have started and what better way to break up the 6 week holidays then a fun camp held in our studios.

Our camp is running for 6 hours on MONDAY 3rd AUGUST to THURSDAY 6th AUGUST

Each day filled with dance, singing, drama, games, arts and crafts and acro.

🏵️DANCER OF THE MONTH 🏵️

As we come to an end of our academic year and approach our summer holidays we have our July dancer of the month to announce.

It’s been fabulous watching everyone work hard, gain amazing exam results and improve in several dance genres.

Our July dancer of the month goes to…….POPPY

Poppy is one of our youngest dancers who attends ballet. She has had a great month or listening and staying focused in class. She has worked hard on her skipping and hopping and is continuing to gain an understanding on her turned out ballet walks.
It is lovely to see her progress and watch her skills develop and she is a great character to have in class. Well done Poppy for working hard and keep hold of all that confidence that you have.

Let’s all have a great summer and look forward to seeing you all soon.

🕺EXAM RESULTS 🕺

All the certificates and individual exam reports arrived yesterday in the post so these will be given out in class next week.

Well done once again to all students that took their I.S.T.D tap or modern exam last month. The results are amazing and you all worked so hard.

What a great end to the academic year.

Well done to all our dancers that performed this afternoon at St Nicolas church.
You were all amazing and danced brilliantly in this heat. It was certainly warm but you all got on with it like a professional and our mini showcase was fab.
I appreciate you all giving up a little bit of your time and hope you enjoyed performing to the crowd.
