This was a fun group in tonight! These girls are doing great with the repertoire! Learning loads of songs and having a great laugh into the bargain. They all hid when I left the room for two minutes... all of them! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

We’re having an Open Mic afternoon at Girdwoods Bar in Wishaw on Sunday 6th September, 3pm till 6pm.

It’s open to everyone, not just Level Up students, so if you sing, play guitar, bass, drums, keys or anything else and fancy getting up and playing a few songs, come along.

We’ll have a full band set up there, so there’s also plenty of opportunity to play with other people and have a bit of a jam.

If you’re a singer songwriter and have some original stuff you want to try out, this would be a great place to do it too.

For our students, I’d really encourage anyone who’s been playing for a while and is getting comfortable with their instrument to come along.
It’s probably not one for complete beginners, but if you’re at the stage where you know a few songs and want to start getting some proper experience playing in front of people, this is exactly the sort of thing I want them getting involved in. All ages are welcome!

The plan is for this to become a monthly thing, so hopefully we can build up a regular group of musicians who come along, play together, meet new people and maybe even end up forming some bands along the way.

Sunday 6th September 3pm till 6pm Girdwoods Bar, Wishaw.
