Job Description:
To assist with the handling and installation of commercial playground equipment and safer surfacing including area preparation, installation and maintaining site safety at all times.
Main duties (specific):
- To undertake the mixing of mortar/concrete by hand or by machine.
- To fetch and carry materials for the job required. This will involve manual handling of heavy and/or awkward objects.
- To load and unload the Company vehicles.
- To tidy up the work area during and after the job.
- To unload, store and stack materials that are delivered to site/yard.
- To undertake excavating by hand for play equipment foundations.
- To erect and dismantle site security fencing.
- To erect and dismantle playground equipment
- To lay playground safer surfacing
- To use hand power tools for drilling, demolitions and cutting in association with the installation process.
- Be capable of working to our high standards to achieve the install which is right first time
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations & safe working practices are adhered to at all times
- Represent and promote the Playmaintain in a professional manner at all times
Main duties (general):
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems.
- To co-operate with the Company in complying with relevant health and safety legislation, policies and procedures in the performance of the duties of the post.
- To understand, comply and carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post in compliance with the Companyโs policies at all times.
- To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibilities of the post

Education/training Requirements:
Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction or repair of playground equipment and safer surfacing desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Communication skills:
The ability to understand and communicate information is essential
Additional Information:
- Successful applicants will be required to have a full DBS check.
- As a national company, this position will require some overnight stays, these are paid for by the company.
- Applicants must be able to get yourself to our yard located near Wisbech each morning (usually around 6-6.30am depending on each project).
Installation Team Salary ยฃ23,400 - ยฃ27,300
