Three amazing sports days this week, with Black Team winning for KS 2, Yellow Team winning for KS 1 and Yellow Team also winning the Nursery Sports Day. Well done to everyone who raced and thank you to all the parents who joined us for a picnic at lunchtime. It's always such a special event in our school calendar.
Huge thanks must also go to Mr Driver for organising KS1 and KS2 events and Mrs Walshaw for organising the Nursery event.

Year 6 have had a fantastic final trip out today to reward all of their incredibly hard work throughout this year and their entire school journey.

Sandcastles, ice-cream, rides, arcades, donuts, screams and laughter all round.

An excellent day had by all and very well deserved!

How wonderful! We've just heard that Saule, from Year 4, has won 2nd prize in the recent BWT photography competition. Well done Saule! Her photgraph will now be proudly displayed in the Primary Training Hub, so that everyone can see her wonderful image. Great work!

Year 4 have taken part in the Big Idea competition. We had to design, build and present an invention that we believed could solve a problem in the world today. There were some amazing ideas, from automatic hairbrushes to self-watering dog bowls. We pitched these ideas to several judges, and the winning team went on to take part in the competition against other primary schools from The Brooke Weston Trust.

Year 4 have been learning about classification. We have learned that plants can be classified into two main groups, flowering and non-flowering plants. We explored our local area to find examples of each.
