📢 RIDERS WANTED FOR THE TOPLINE RIDER DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

What if we could measure exactly how much a rider improves?

At TopLine Equine Academy, we’re launching our first Rider Development Project and are looking for a small group of committed riders to take part in our founding cohort.

Over 4 weeks, riders will undergo a structured programme combining simulator training, ridden coaching and rider education, with progress measured from start to finish.

Throughout the programme we will be gathering evidence to measure improvements in:

✅ Rider position and balance
✅ Confidence
✅ Communication with the horse
✅ Understanding of horse behaviour
✅ Overall effectiveness as a rider

This isn’t about collecting riding lessons.

It’s about collecting evidence of improvement.

As a participant in our Founding Cohort, you’ll help us evaluate and develop a new evidence-based coaching programme designed to create more effective riders and happier horses.

Places are strictly limited as each rider will receive individual assessment and feedback.

Something for the weekend?

All our available private lesson slots are full for this weekend, but we have spaces on our Tier 4 and Tier 5 group lessons on Saturday afternoon.

(Tier 4 is for riders confident in canter and Tier 5 is for experienced riders.)

There is a village hack leaving at 2pm on Sunday.

And our Tier 3/Tier 4 blended group has availability at 4:45pm on Sunday. This group is for those who are secure in their walk and trot and are working towards cantering.

Team TopLine Update

Rachael will be taking a short period of annual leave and some well-deserved time to recharge.

Topline will continue to operate as normal, with lessons, activities and horse care all continuing under the guidance of our coaching and yard teams.

For all enquiries, bookings and general communication, please contact 07475 741180 rather than Rachael’s personal number.

Clients with lessons booked directly with Rachael will be contacted individually regarding any cover arrangements.

We have spaces available on our Tier 1 lead rein hacks at 1:15 and 2pm tomorrow, £15 per rider, parents welcome to walk alongside, this is the perfect introduction to see how we do things.k

We have a couple of private lesson slots available over the weekend as well, please message to book.

And for our regular riders we have spaces on Tier 4 and Tier 5 with Tim available, drop Rob a message to book on those.

Beach Ride Experiences | Topline Equine Acade Our Beach Hack Experiences offer riders the rare opportunity to explore the breathtaking Wirral coastline from horseback. Based from Hoylake, our carefully planned rides take you across the vast sands and coastal scenery that make this area one of the most unique riding destinations in the country.

Jump Start

For riders New to jumping TopLine ponies or wanting to learn or fine tune the basics over poles and small jumps. 45minute session.

We know it's not horse related but it's a charity event that Rob has been involved with for many years, will be there again helping to raise awareness of the great work they do and how to safely be around horses.

Adult Improvers Group – Tuesday 7:15pm

Ready to take the next step?

This Tuesday evening we’ll be introducing some poles and, for those who feel ready, having a go at a few small jumps in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The focus will be on:
• Building confidence
• Improving balance and position
• Developing rhythm and control
• Learning to ride positively and independently
• Having fun in a friendly, no-pressure group

Whether you’ve never jumped before, haven’t jumped for years, or simply want to feel more secure and balanced over poles, this session is designed to help you progress at your own pace. There is absolutely no pressure to do anything you don’t feel comfortable with.

At TopLine we believe confidence comes from understanding, good foundations, and feeling supported every step of the way.
