Well we have made it to another Summer holiday! Thank you to all for your support this year.

Some of you may have heard on the Winterton grapevine that Mrs Fearn is retiring. She personally requested that we did not make a public fuss or let the community know while she was still in school and we have respected this .Mrs Fearn has worked at the school for over 50 years and is beloved by not just the school but the entire community. Mrs Fearn will be a massive loss to us all. If you have any positive messages or memories to share , please do so on this post so we can forward them to her.

In addition, the new community shop at the junior school , which opens on Sept 11, will be dedicated to this amazing lady and called "Fearn's". A lasting tribute to a wonderful woman.

Next Monday, Friends of the Winterton Federation will be holding a bake sale after school!

Along with this, we will also be holding a Summer Raffle which includes lots of prizes and vouchers - tickets are on sale for £1.00 and can be purchased from either school office.

Any donations of baked goods or prizes for the raffle would be greatly welcomed.

Pastor Mike visited our school today to share the inspiring news about his upcoming charity walk in support of Christian Aid. At the beginning of September, he will be walking 200 miles along the Bridlington coastline to raise money for Venezuela, a community in need of support after their terrible earthquake .His dedication, faith, and commitment to helping others are truly admirable and we are grateful he took the time to speak with our children and staff about his mission.
