🎤 TOMORROW IS SHOW DAY!! 🎭
🎫 show starts at 7pm, with doors open from 6.15, any student going home after school should be back on site for 6pm 🎟

REMINDER: tomorrow is the technical and dress rehearsal. Students should come to school in uniform and bring their costumes with them (if not already in school).

Reminder - Costumes for the Winter Show. (Where possible, please bring these in this week and leave them at school ready for the dress rehearsal after half term).

Girl in da Hoodie - Jeans and Hoodies (unless specifically told otherwise, e.g mother, wolf, grandma, etc)
Lion King - Black movable clothes (trousers/leggings and t-shirt) with animal ears
Beauty and the Beast - Black t-shirt and long skirt
Student Councillor - school uniform or suit
Tallulah - appropriate dresses
Shine (all cast) -Black movable clothes (trousers/leggings and t-shirt)
Annie - black trousers and white t-shirt
Soloists - should wear clothing that they feel comfortable wearing
Dancers - leotards as previous

Well what can I say? A huge thank you to the staff and students for having me! To the students... I will miss your smiles, crazy stories and giggles. It has been amazing teaching such talented hard working students and spending time with you all. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of your musical journeys. Keep up the good work and remember you can be anything you want to be when you challenge yourself. Follow that yellow brick road! To the parents thank you so very much, I have been overwhelmed by your lovely emails and kinds gifts, currently finding room for them all! Your children are a credit to you. Due to the lovely snow we have been unable to have our technical and dress rehearsals so will be postponing our winter show to the first week back in January to enable the students to be show ready! Keep your tickets! Dates tbc tomorrow. Thank you for your support!

Year 12 Alevel Drama and Media students had a fab day on Thursday watching Hairspray UK Tour at Aylesbury Waterside theatre. Not only did we get to watch an amazing show but also had a fabulous backstage tour and interview with a cast member! Thanks to everyone at AWT including our brilliant tour guide Jane. Such fun!

Bittersweet Music 🎶 will be starting a new and exciting 'pop' choir for youngsters in September 2017. The choir will run on Wednesdays at 4:30pm at The Centre, Verney Close, Buckingham and will be open to all children aged 7+ and teenagers. Performance opportunities will be available too. We are currently assessing interest. Guitar players also welcome to accompany the singers on some great songs! Please message to find out more. We want this to be fun and affordable! Wow what a day!! A fun trip to MK Theatre to see Billy Elliot with Year 9 and 10 students... again STFS students were praised by the public for their exceptional behaviour...and then the most epic present ever! A signed Les Miserables poster from our very own extremely talented student who is in the show! Thank you so much Colby! What an amazing gift!

Just a reminder that Our House rehearsals this week start tomorrow. 4.30pm-6.30pm in the Music room. This week will be Wednesday and Friday only ( as we are on a YR10 trip on Thursday ). Next week will be Wednesday Thursday and Friday!

Thankyou Duncan Lee at XYZ Music Academy for coming in and spending the day sorting our drum kits and giving them a bit of tlc! This practice room is ready to go!
