Wow!!!! It’s taken me a while to put this message together. Yesterday I said goodbye to the children and our wonderful families past and present. Today we cleared out and I said a final goodbye to my business and my amazing team. We are officially closed.
I Can never thank you all enough for your support and kindness!! Yesterday blew me and the team away, the number of people who turned out to wish us well was overwhelming. Apologies for the tears l, I was thrown off guard when I saw you all 🤣 I have to Thank my wonderful husband Matt for his thoughtful speeches and flowers. Which brings me to a very heartfelt Thank you for the incredible gifts and cards which we received it was so very kind and generous!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the end so special and memorable!!
We are all off to follow new paths but will forever carry the last 7 years with us. Thank you for letting us be part of this fabulous village, Louise, Jen, Sarah, Rachel, Jodie, Lucy & Wendy xx

The last 7 years have been filled with love, happiness and fun! I have worked with so many incredible people and built so many friendships. I have met the most amazing families and have been privileged to work with children who have educated and inspired me. Children who I have cared for have come back and worked with me, they have volunteered with us because they wanted to come back after they left. In 3 weeks I will close this chapter and start a new one. It will not be easy and there may be tears 🙈 however I can carry the most precious and happy memories with me forever!! Our last day will be Wednesday 20th July this day will be a celebration of the good times, we would love to see you all for a final goodbye! Everyone is welcome past and present so Please pop in, let us know how you are!!

We have enjoyed celebrating the Queens Jubilee this week 👑 We even had our very own Windsor castle protected by a Beefeater! Not too mention a suspicious amount of jewels 🤭 Thank you for all of the amazing food donations we were spoilt and the children loved every minute.
Have a fabulous half term and we will see you on Monday 6th for our last half term 🥰

It is with a very heavy heart that I confirm the closure of Moulton Nursery School & After School Club on 20th July 2022. As many of you know we were trying to secure the use of the school's old canteen building with the support of our parents and the community. However with the timescale we were given due to our current lease ending we have run out of time. We have tried to extend our lease for a further year to allow us to continue to replace the old canteen building but this has not been accepted by our landlord. Myself and my team are utterly heartbroken, we have all lost our jobs which could not come at a worse time, the impact is devastating.
I have lost everything I have worked so hard for over the last 15 years, and feel utterly broken by the events that have led to this.
There will now be two empty buildings in the village during the day, instead of a vibrant and busy setting.
I would like to thank our incredible families and Moulton School for supporting us through this difficult time, words cannot express our gratitiude to you all. We could not have got through this without you!
We as a team will be ensuring that the children's final term with us is as amazing as always.

This is a wonderful activity for children to do whilst out on a walk! Not only does it give them a focus on the walk, it will also develop their fine motor skills supporting pre writing skills. This activity also provides lots of opportunity for introducing new language. Why not give it a go!!

This week we have focused on our community. The children have enjoyed playing in their own McColls shop, learning lots along the way. We also did our very Moulton scavenger hunt! This was a lot of fun and allowed us to talk about all of the amazing places in Moulton. McColl's

Moulton Nursery School are looking for new team members!! Candidates must be under 4 ft tall, between the ages of 2 and 5 and have a lust for life! They must be messy and energetic and have a slightly mischievous streak! Minimum wage regulations do not apply, in fact you must pay us! Government relief can be claimed by means of tax free childcare, 2,3 and 4 year old funding. A limited amount of vacancies are available, however more will become available in September! Register your interest now! Interviews not necessary! X

Sensory play ignites a lot of learning opportunities for children and often encourages those who don’t engage in more conventional play. Our spaghetti worms in the soil certainly evoked discussions between our children. Some, spent all day exploring the tray and adding resources to it. Others couldn’t look at them without a shiver. We were able to use lots of vocabulary and talk about how it’s ok to have different views and feelings to those of our friends, a very important value our children need as they grow up in todays society.
The Mother’s Day potion station, with strawberry jelly, fruits and beautiful ice tray was a whole different experience with a more visually pleasing appearance our children approached this tuff tray very differently. Blending scents and texture and colour to create new liquids and stews provoked lots of conversations and vocabulary.
