We were delighted to welcome our friends from Cheshire Young Carers to St Chad’s today.
They have been working closely with us to help identify and support pupils who take on caring responsibilities for family members.
We are incredibly proud to have received this award in recognition of the commitment and dedication shown by the St Chad’s team in ensuring that our young carers feel valued, supported and understood. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the positive impact of this important work and our ongoing partnership with Cheshire Young Carers.

Year 1 have had a brilliant first two days back in school! 😊 They have enjoyed getting to know their new classroom, exploring all of the Year 1 provision and learning how to use it independently. They have been busy with phonics, sorting objects in maths, learning about Noah’s Ark and the meaning of the rainbow in RE and creating some wild and wonderful googly eye pictures. I am so impressed with their creativity and enthusiasm! ✨🌈
