On Monday we took our preschool children who will be leaving us this week on a special end-of-term trip to Wheelock Hall Farm🐑🚜☀️

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Wheelock Hall Farm for helping to make the day such a wonderful success. The children had an amazing time exploring the farm, meeting the animals, and creating memories that we know they will treasure as they prepare for their next adventure.

Thank you to our amazing staff who always put so much effort in to organise this day to ensure our children have a lasting memory! What a wonderful way to end our brilliant school year!💛

This Mental Health Week, we’re reminding our nursery and preschool families that children’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their learning.

Every cuddle, kind word, routine, friendship and moment of reassurance helps children feel safe, confident and understood.

🎉 Happy 100th Birthday to Sir David Attenborough! 🌍💚

Today we’re celebrating a true national treasure who has been a mainstay in all of our lives for generations.

From inspiring wonder about animals and nature, to helping children and adults understand just how precious our planet is, Sir David Attenborough has given the world so much.

At our preschool and nursery, we are incredibly grateful for the curiosity, kindness and care for nature that he continues to inspire in young minds. 🌿🐝🦋

It’s that wonderful time of year again in our Day Nursery garden… seed to plate season has begun! 🌱☀️

This morning, our outdoor space looked beautiful in the Spring sunshine, and we are so excited for the children to begin another season of planting, growing, watering, caring and discovering where their food comes from.

At Start Well Learning, we believe children learn best through real, meaningful experiences. Our seed to plate approach helps children understand that food doesn’t just appear on a plate — it begins in the soil, grows with care, and becomes something we can cook, taste and enjoy together.

From tiny seeds to healthy meals, the children develop curiosity, responsibility, patience and a love of fresh food along the way. 🥕🍅🌿

We’re also delighted to share that our newly completed all-weather outdoor area is now ready for the children to enjoy all year round.

With the installation of our brand-new awning taking place this Friday, this wonderful space will be even more practical and comfortable in all seasons — giving the children more opportunities to play, learn, explore and grow outdoors whatever the weather.

A huge thank you to Cheshire Artificial Grass for completing this fantastic project and helping us create such a safe, practical and inspiring space for outdoor learning, play and discovery.

What a lovely way to welcome Spring. 💛
