Throughout November we went to many different places including Tots Tower, Topsy Tumbles, Stay and Play group , the park and the sensory room. The children also made some firework biscuits, painted some poppies for Remembrance day, made Pudsey Bear masks, painted fireworks and made a Scottish flag for St Andrews day.
December will be all about Christmas.🎄🎄

We had a very busy month with the theme of Halloween and shapes. The children made lots of Halloween themed crafts like bats, pumpkins and spiders. They also carved some pumpkins, made biscuits and we had a Halloween party where the children all dressed up and played games and won prizes.

Booking now being taken for the half term holidays
All the children seemed to enjoy our Autumn and music theme for September. They painted their own trees, made a leaf and made a leaf collage from the things we collected on our Autumn walk. Some of the children also made their own shakers, new portraits of themselves and some krispie cakes with stars on them. We have also been to the park, Tot's Tower, Topsy tumbles and the stay and play group through out the month.
For October our theme is Halloween and shapes. The children will have the chance to take part in lots of Halloween themed activities including painting and baking and I will be helping some of the younger children to learn about shapes. We will also be having a Halloween party 🧙♀️🧛♀️🧟♀️🎃
This week we had a trip to Fuzzy Ed's. The children enjoyed playing hide and seek in the play area and going down the big twisty slide. On Tuesday we went for a picnic in the park. The children played on all the equipment and enjoyed their sandwiches, salad and fruit there. On Thursday the children painted wind chimes to take home and hang up in their garden. On Friday we made our own playdoh and had a competition to see who could make the best looking cakes with it.
Next week: trip to the Ice Cream Farm, baking and drawing pictures of ourselves.
This week we had a trip to Sandiway park. The children really enjoyed playing on the big slide there and made some wonderful sandcastles in the sand pit. On Wednesday we went to the cinema to watch 'Captain Underpants.' We all enjoyed some popcorn and the children found the film very funny especially the professors name. The children also painted some masks and did some mosaic dinosaur art. On Friday we made some chocolate krispie cakes and added some marshmellows to the mixture. The children enjoyed eating these after their lunch.
Next week: trip to a play centre, messy play and making wind chimes.
We have had a busy start to the school holidays this week. We had messy play outside in the garden with spaghetti and different coloured paint and we also had water play in there later in the week. On Tuesday the children baked some sconces and they looked delicious. On Wednesday we went to Crewe park for the fun day. The children played on the park, did some bike riding and played crazy golf. On Thursday it was one of the children's dad's birthday so he made him a fabulous card. On Friday we went to the park and the children ran off lots of energy.
Next week: trip to the cinema, painting and picnic at the park.
The children enjoyed making some Valentine chocolates this week and added marshmallows and sprinkles to their melted chocolate. We also went tot Doodlekidz where it was a nursery rhyme theme. The children really enjoyed playing in the water, straw and sand. We also went to Topsy Tumbles and the children played on the bouncy castle and slide.
Next weeks activites: storytime at the Library, more Valentines crafts and a trip to playgroup.
This week we celebrated Harvey's 7th birthday. The children enjoyed playing some party games and winning prizes. We also started our Valentines theme and some of the children used their hands to make heart shaped paintings. We also went to Story time at the Library where the children joined in with the rhymes playing the musical instruments and with the parachute.
Next weeks activities: Doodlekidz, Topsy tumbles and baking.
The children really enjoyed our time at Doodlekids this week. It was an Under the Sea theme and they played in the water, ice, spaghetti and rice trays. They also got to paint some fish and sea shell pictures. We also had some Chinese food to celebrate Chinese New Year and the children got tot take some fortune cookies home. We also went to Topsy Tumbles and the children did some drawings. On Friday we had a musical day and that children enjoyed playing with the various musical instrumets, making lots of noise and singing and dancing.
Next Week: trip to Stay and Play, messy play and baking.
We have had a fun filled week!! On Monday we went to Topsy Tumbles where the children enjoyed going on the bouncy castle and riding on the bikes there. On Tuesday we went to the Stay and Play group where the children joined in with rhyme time and played in the sand table outside. On Thursday we had a trip to the Ice Cream Farm where we played in Honeycomb Canyon splashing in puddles and turning the taps on to make the water come out of all the different levels. The children also enjoyed playing on the park there and having a chocolate ice cream. On Friday we did some paintings of blossom trees to celebrate Chinese New Year and the children finished their lanterns off.

This week we started our Chinese New Year theme by making some lanterns and finding out which animal year the children and their parents were born in. The children also enjoyed a trip to the sensory room, watching all the different colours and listening to the sounds of the coloured squares. We also went to Topsy Tumbles and the children burned off some energy on the bouncy castle and soft play equipment.
Next week we are going to the Stay and Play group, the Ice Cream Farm and doing some more Chinese New Year crafts.
We have had lots of fun over the Christmas holidays, but now it its time for some of the children to return to school and to welcome back the children that attend after school. During the holidays we had trips out to play centres, the Ice Cream Farm and all the children really enjoyed going on the train to the Liverpool Museum. This month we are go to be learning about Chinese New Year, trying new foods and finding out what our animal year is and what our parents are.
We have been busy with our Halloween theme over the past two weeks. The children made some skeletons by painting a gluing different types of pasta and made some ghost hand prints. They really enjoyed carving a pumpkin by putting their hands inside the pumpkin and pulling all the flesh and seeds out of it. We also made some sparkly bats which are now hanging from the ceiling.
This weeks activities: making Halloween cakes, going to the Halloween party at Stay and Play and going on a leaf walk.

Some of the children also did some finger painting of autumn coloured leaves to go on their trees. On Friday we had a tea party to celebrate Louise's birthday, the children enjoyed playing the party games and winning some prizes.
This week's activities: going to Stay and Play and Jabberjacks and some more Halloween activities.
We have had a fantastic time learning all about Roald Dahl and making lots of crafts to go with some of the stories. We made some marble chocolate for Charlie and the chocolate factory, some delicious peach juice from James and the Giant peach and some marvellous gooey medicine form George's Marvellous Medicine. The children also made some crocodiles and beards form The Twits.
Octobers theme is Halloween and autumn. This week we are going to be decorating biscuits, making skeletons and finger painting. We will also be having a birthday tea party on Friday for Louise.
This week we made some frobscottle from the BFG. The children enjoyed mixing all the ingredients together and then tasting it. It tasted very sweet and fizzy. We also made some fantastic fox mask. The children enjoyed listening to some of the book Fantastic Mr Fox while they made them. Some of the children also designed their own chocolate bar wrapper and gave them some marvelous names.
I would also like to welcome the three new children that have joined this week. They have all settled in really well.
Next weeks activities: making chocolate bars and putting the wrappers on that the children have designed, messy play and making a crocodile.
This week we have started on our Roald Dahl theme. The children enjoyed making some dream catchers from the BFG and we have been looking at some of the books that Roald Dahl has written. We also had messy play and found out what happens when you mix water and flour together. We also had a trip to the park and the children enjoyed climbing very high up on the climbing frame and spinning round very fast on the roundabout.
Next week's activities: making Frobscottle from the BFG, making Fox masks and designing our own chocolate bars.
Last week we had a fantastic trip to Prestatyn beach. All the children enjoyed going for a paddle in the sea and we had a sandcastle competition and played on the park. We also painted some rainbow fish using very bright colours then the children used their hands and fingers to make some more pictures. We also made some homemade chocolate ice cream. I didn't get chance to taste any of it as all the children were too eager to take it home, I hope they all enjoyed it! We also went to the park and played on the zip wire and in the exercise area and enjoyed a trip to Barnaby's playbarn to run off some energy.
It was also a very emotional week as we said goodbye to three of the little ones, two of which have been with me since they were 9 months old. Me, Chelsea and Louise shed lot's of tears and we are going to miss them very much. We wish them good luck at their new schools as they join reception class.
Throughout September we are going to be celebrating the works of Roald Dahl as it is his centenary birthday this month. Look out for some 'champion' crafts and some 'marvellous' food!
Last week we had a dance and music themed week. The children enjoyed going to Diddidance, using the different props to dance with and joining in with the actions. We also played some musical games and the children became very competitive when playing musical chairs and statues. Some of the children made their own musical instruments and decorated them, they made a very loud noise when the children shook them. We also went to the Ice Cream Farm and went on the go karts and played on the park there. We also went to Knights Grange park and the trampoline proved to be very popular there.
This week's theme is the beach. We are planning a trip to the beach, making our own ice creams and decorating some rainbow fish.
This week we had an animal themed week. On Monday we had a lovely day out to Stockley Farm where the children took the goats for a walk, brushed the rabbits, guinea pigs and ponies and watched the ducks racing. They also played on the park and the inflatable bouncy castle and slide. On Wednesday we had the paddling pool out and the children really enjoyed going down the slide into the water and splashing each other and me. On Thursday we baked and decorated some cakes that are shaped like ladybirds, butterflies and dragonflies. On Friday the weather stopped us from going to feed the ducks so we painted some beautiful butterflies instead.
Next week's theme is music and dance. We are going to diddidance, making our own musical instruments and having a talent show.
This week we had a sports themed week to celebrate the start of the Olympics. The children took part in a range of activities from going to the park and having relay races and playing archery and javelin, from using the punch bag to test their boxing skills. We also went to the Mini Dribblers session at the Library where the children enjoyed joining in with football activities. All the children received a medal and certificate for all their hard work throughout the week. We even made some cakes to celebrate!
Next week's activities: animal themed. Trip to Stockley Farm, making animal masks and biscuits and going to feed the ducks.
Last week we had a food themed week. The children really enjoyed playing in the shop that we made and buying all the things we had collected over the week. We also went for a picnic at Crewe park and the children joined in with the fun day there by bouncing on space hoppers, playing giant twister and going on the bouncy castle and bouncy slide. We also went to the Ice Cream Farm and enjoyed a delicious ice cream. On Thursday we went to watch a magic show at Wharton Library and Louise got to be the magicians helper for one of the tricks. The children also painted a paper plate with some their favourite foods on. They also seemed to like strawberries and biscuits.

Last week we had a space themed week. The children enjoyed making a spaceship and pretending to be astronauts. They also made their own planets and pictures of aliens. We also had a trip to Jodrell Bank and saw the Lovell telescope and took part in some interactive activities. The children also made some delicious looking biscuits shaped as planets and stars.
This week's theme is food. We are going to make our shop, have picnic and go to the Ice Cream Farm.

Haven't updated my page in a while as been so busy having lots of fun over the Easter holidays. We have been to play golf, the Ice Cream Farm, the park, Topsy Tumbles and to the Library to see some animals. We have also had messy play, made Easter cards, chocolate bunnies and eggs and Easter chocolate nests. Thanks to everyone that came to Scott's leaving party yesterday and thank you to Rachel for the lovely flowers and cakes. Also welcome to the new children that started last week and this week, I'm sure we will be having lots of fun!
