Throughout November we went to many different places including Tots Tower, Topsy Tumbles, Stay and Play group , the park and the sensory room. The children also made some firework biscuits, painted some poppies for Remembrance day, made Pudsey Bear masks, painted fireworks and made a Scottish flag for St Andrews day.

December will be all about Christmas.🎄🎄

Also I am now taking bookings for the Christmas school holidays so please get in touch if you need a space for your child.

We had a very busy month with the theme of Halloween and shapes. The children made lots of Halloween themed crafts like bats, pumpkins and spiders. They also carved some pumpkins, made biscuits and we had a Halloween party where the children all dressed up and played games and won prizes.

All the children seemed to enjoy our Autumn and music theme for September. They painted their own trees, made a leaf and made a leaf collage from the things we collected on our Autumn walk. Some of the children also made their own shakers, new portraits of themselves and some krispie cakes with stars on them. We have also been to the park, Tot's Tower, Topsy tumbles and the stay and play group through out the month.

For October our theme is Halloween and shapes. The children will have the chance to take part in lots of Halloween themed activities including painting and baking and I will be helping some of the younger children to learn about shapes. We will also be having a Halloween party 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♀️🧟‍♀️🎃

This week we had a trip to Fuzzy Ed's. The children enjoyed playing hide and seek in the play area and going down the big twisty slide. On Tuesday we went for a picnic in the park. The children played on all the equipment and enjoyed their sandwiches, salad and fruit there. On Thursday the children painted wind chimes to take home and hang up in their garden. On Friday we made our own playdoh and had a competition to see who could make the best looking cakes with it.

Next week: trip to the Ice Cream Farm, baking and drawing pictures of ourselves.

This week we had a trip to Sandiway park. The children really enjoyed playing on the big slide there and made some wonderful sandcastles in the sand pit. On Wednesday we went to the cinema to watch 'Captain Underpants.' We all enjoyed some popcorn and the children found the film very funny especially the professors name. The children also painted some masks and did some mosaic dinosaur art. On Friday we made some chocolate krispie cakes and added some marshmellows to the mixture. The children enjoyed eating these after their lunch.

Next week: trip to a play centre, messy play and making wind chimes.

We have had a busy start to the school holidays this week. We had messy play outside in the garden with spaghetti and different coloured paint and we also had water play in there later in the week. On Tuesday the children baked some sconces and they looked delicious. On Wednesday we went to Crewe park for the fun day. The children played on the park, did some bike riding and played crazy golf. On Thursday it was one of the children's dad's birthday so he made him a fabulous card. On Friday we went to the park and the children ran off lots of energy.

Next week: trip to the cinema, painting and picnic at the park.

The children enjoyed making some Valentine chocolates this week and added marshmallows and sprinkles to their melted chocolate. We also went tot Doodlekidz where it was a nursery rhyme theme. The children really enjoyed playing in the water, straw and sand. We also went to Topsy Tumbles and the children played on the bouncy castle and slide.

Next weeks activites: storytime at the Library, more Valentines crafts and a trip to playgroup.

This week we celebrated Harvey's 7th birthday. The children enjoyed playing some party games and winning prizes. We also started our Valentines theme and some of the children used their hands to make heart shaped paintings. We also went to Story time at the Library where the children joined in with the rhymes playing the musical instruments and with the parachute.

Next weeks activities: Doodlekidz, Topsy tumbles and baking.

The children really enjoyed our time at Doodlekids this week. It was an Under the Sea theme and they played in the water, ice, spaghetti and rice trays. They also got to paint some fish and sea shell pictures. We also had some Chinese food to celebrate Chinese New Year and the children got tot take some fortune cookies home. We also went to Topsy Tumbles and the children did some drawings. On Friday we had a musical day and that children enjoyed playing with the various musical instrumets, making lots of noise and singing and dancing.

Next Week: trip to Stay and Play, messy play and baking.

22/01/2017

We have had a fun filled week!! On Monday we went to Topsy Tumbles where the children enjoyed going on the bouncy castle and riding on the bikes there. On Tuesday we went to the Stay and Play group where the children joined in with rhyme time and played in the sand table outside. On Thursday we had a trip to the Ice Cream Farm where we played in Honeycomb Canyon splashing in puddles and turning the taps on to make the water come out of all the different levels. The children also enjoyed playing on the park there and having a chocolate ice cream. On Friday we did some paintings of blossom trees to celebrate Chinese New Year and the children finished their lanterns off.

Next week: fun at Doodlekids, trying some Chinese food and Topsy Tumbles.
