We have been using social media for some time to showcase the amazing activities our staff and children do every day, as well as celebrating individual, nursery and group achievements.
After a careful review we have decided to rationalise our online presence, and as of 16th February all posts will only be shared on our ‘Complete Childcare Nurseries’ page on Facebook and Instagram, and ‘Nursery Jobs in Complete Childcare’ on Facebook.

Last week in preschool we celebrated National Storytelling Week. The children actively participated in creating their own book from scratch—a collection of stories and characters they created themselves! This week in preschool we've been looking at beautiful Scotland in celebration of Burns Night. The children were able to explore and learn more about Scottish culture and traditions through various activities, such as making the Scottish flag, creating tartan patterns, baking Scottish shortbread, reading poems about Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, and making it out of Play-dough, and dancing to traditional ceilidh music 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It's been a fantastic Big Garden Birdwatch Week at Happitots, where we've all been deeply involved, learning about and exploring the different local bird species. We've done all sorts of activities, like creating birdwatching windows and telescopes from recycled materials, building sustainable bird feeders, building nests, making bird pictures, listening to the sounds of different local birds, and of course, going out to spot them in our gardens!

The preschool children have started the year with great enthusiasm and have been reading and doing different activities around the story "The Rainbow Fish." These activities range from creating their own rainbow fish, acting out the story, and following patterns, to making a sensory bottle inspired by the most beautiful fish in the ocean 🫧🐠
