🎉 WE HAVE SOME VERY SPECIAL NEWS! 🎉

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that Winmarleigh Village Hall has been named SMALL WEDDING VENUE OF THE YEAR 2026! 💍🥂✨

For our little Village Hall to receive this recognition means more to us than we can possibly say.

Over the years, so much love, time and hard work has gone into making Winmarleigh Village Hall somewhere truly special — not only for our community, but for the couples and families who choose to celebrate some of the most important moments of their lives with us.

We love helping each couple make the Hall their own, from the decorations and little personal touches to the food, bar and everything that helps make their day memorable. Every wedding is different, and it is such a privilege to be trusted with such a special occasion.

This award belongs to everyone who helps make Winmarleigh Village Hall what it is — our wonderful volunteers, supporters, committee members, local businesses and, of course, every couple who has chosen our Village Hall for their wedding. ❤️

To be recognised in 2026 for both our community impact and heritage excellence and now as Small Wedding Venue of the Year 2026 is something our little rural Village Hall could never have imagined.

We may be a small venue, but we have a very big heart. 💚

A huge thank you to whoever nominated us – it truly means the world to us that you thought of our venue. We feel incredibly grateful for your support and recognition.

Now it’s everything crossed 🤞 as we wait for the results in a few weeks’ time. Whatever happens, we’re so thankful to everyone who has supported us and trusted us to be part of your special day. ❤️

We are incredibly proud and deeply honoured to announce that Winmarleigh Village Hall has been awarded the Heroes of Industry Award for Community Impact & Heritage Excellence.

This prestigious award recognises our unwavering dedication to strengthening community life, preserving local heritage, and creating a welcoming, inclusive space where people of all ages can come together.

It is an honour that reflects the dedication, generosity and community spirit shown by so many people over the years.

This award is a tribute to every past and present volunteer, committee member, supporter, local business, grant provider and member of our community who has played a part in the Village Hall’s journey. Together, you have helped preserve its heritage while ensuring it continues to thrive for future generations.

Every hour volunteered, every donation made, every event attended and every word of encouragement has helped us achieve something truly special. This recognition belongs to all of you just as much as it belongs to the Village Hall itself.

We are especially humbled to learn that this recognition came following an anonymous nomination. Knowing that someone felt our Village Hall was worthy of this honour without us even knowing is incredibly touching and means more to us than words can express. To the person who took the time to nominate us – thank you. Your kindness and belief in what we do has made this recognition even more special.

⚽️ A Massive Thank You! ⚽️

A huge shout out to Cockerham Junior Football Club for their incredibly generous donation of these fantastic football bean bags! 💚

They’ll be taking pride of place here at Winmarleigh Village Hall, and we’re sure they’re going to be a massive hit with children, families, and everyone who visits.

Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated, and it’s wonderful to see local organisations supporting one another for the benefit of our community.
