Positive Behaviour Support is often misunderstood. It is not about control, It is not about compliance. It is about understanding why a behaviour is happening and then building the skills, environment and relationships that help a person thrive.

Every behaviour is a form of communication and when we get curious instead of reactive, we start to see the whole person, their needs, their strengths and what they are trying to tell us.

Small, thoughtful changes to routines, communication and environment can create real and lasting change and that change happens best when families, schools and support teams work together.

This is the heart of what we do at All Behaviour Consultancy.

If "just do it" has never really worked for your brain, this may be part of why. ADHD motivation tends to run on interest, not importance.

"PINCH" is a handy way to remember the kinds of things that help get us moving, most of us lean on some of these more than others.

At All Behaviour Consultancy, we build this understanding into the support we offer when we design plans for autistic, ADHD children as well as young people, we look for ways to work with the brain rather than against it and that means using interest, novelty, competition and genuine motivators, instead of expecting willpower alone to carry someone through.

It can be helpful to notice which ones light you up and to build tasks around them where you can. Curious which is your strongest driver?

If you would like support that works with your child's brain rather than against it, get in touch with All Behaviour Consultancy at

In our world small progress is still progress, real change rarely looks dramatic. It looks like one new word spoken, one smoother transition between activities, one successful interaction with a peer, one brave attempt at something that felt too hard yesterday.

These moments are easy to overlook but they are the building blocks of lasting growth.

Every child's journey is different and every small win deserves to be celebrated because consistent small steps compound into meaningful, long term change.

At All Behaviour Consultancy, we never underestimate what one step forward can become and we are here to support that journey every step of the way.

You don't have to navigate this alone. We are here to walk beside you, providing the tools and heart-centered care your family deserves.

In our work supporting neurodivergent children and families, we talk a lot about triggers and what causes dysregulation, but there's another side to the story that deserves just as much attention: GLIMMERS.

Glimmers are the small, positive cues our nervous system picks up on a familiar texture, a quiet corner, a comforting routine, that signal of safety rather than threat.

For autistic individuals, these micro-moments of calm are not small at all. Over time, they build a foundation of psychological safety, trust and genuine resilience.

At All Behaviour Consultancy, this is central to how we approach neurodiversity affirming practice.

We believe supporting behaviour means understanding it, not just managing it and that starts with recognising what helps someone feel safe, seen and understood.

We would love to help your team, school or organisation embrace the power of glimmers.

Real inclusion is not written into a policy document. It is built, day by day, in how adults treat each other and the children in their care.

When staff feel psychologically safe, they show up for children with more patience and more heart. When leaders find the courage to challenge systems that are not working, outcomes shift for everyone, not just a few.

At All Behaviour Consultancy, this is the belief behind every piece of work we do with schools, families and local authorities. Belonging is not a strategy document. It is a culture and it is everyone's responsibility to build it.

We are proud of the schools and services choosing to do this work honestly, even when it is hard.

The work continues and we are grateful to be part of it.

A teacher once told us that the hardest part of her day was not the curriculum. It was the ten minutes after a child came in dysregulated, when the whole lesson plan had to wait for a nervous system to settle first.

That is the reality behind every classroom, every home, every clinic room we work in. Regulation comes before learning. Always!!

Children do not learn to manage intense feelings by being told to calm down, they learn it by having someone notice what they are feeling, name it alongside them and stay steady while they find their way back.

We see this shift constantly in our work. A child who once could not explain what was wrong starts saying "I am stressed" instead of shutting down.

A teacher who once felt helpless to help that beautiful soul starts recognising the early signs before a situation escalates. Small, specific changes that ripple outward.

If your school, service or local authority is thinking seriously about how emotional regulation is supported day to day, we would be glad to talk it through.

Time is not experienced the same way by every mind and understanding this difference matters far beyond the therapy room.

For an autistic individual, an upcoming appointment or plan often triggers a real need to prepare, to know the details in advance, to feel a sense of control before the moment arrives.

For someone with ADHD, that same plan can disappear from awareness entirely, not out of carelessness but from a genuine difference in how time is perceived and tracked.

For someone who is AuDHD, both experiences can exist at once, creating a form of anticipatory overwhelm that can consume an entire day.

We call this Waiting Mode and we see it every day in the children, families and schools we support.

For parents, educators and school leaders, this understanding can reshape how we respond to a child who seems anxious, distracted or "checked out" before a transition.

It is rarely defiance. It is far more often a brain doing its honest best with the tools it has.

At All Behaviour Consultancy, our work is built on understanding every individual, offering tailored support, and empowering potential, because every mind truly does matter.

If your school, organisation or family would benefit from support around neurodiversity, autism or ADHD, we would welcome the conversation.
