Ever wondered why your childminder prefers tab nappies?
This is why.
On our trip to the woods I needed to change one of the Hedgehogs.
They were covered in mud and really didn’t want to stop to have their nappy changed.
It was a bit chilly and a bit damp as well!

Thankfully this child had tab nappies on.
This meant I didn’t have to fully undress them, they stayed dry and mostly warm too.

We were sorted in half the time it takes to fully undress for pull ups!

Which meant that this hedgehog was back off playing in the woods in no time!

This morning as we left playgroup we met two lovely police officers who chatted to the children and showed them the police car, complete with lights and sirens 🚨! No one was brave enough to sit inside the car but they had fun lining up and standing like an officer.

Over the years there have been tears over broken tracks as the children lean over and onto tracks which have been carefully made as they play.

I had an idea I seen before and within two hours we found some mdf, got Liam to cut it to fit our ikea table, selected part of our train track to be glued down and its ready for play!!!

We have kept the rest of the track to pop in a basket along side this new addition so play can still be imaginative and creative.

Sweetcorn, cucumbers, courgettes and pumpkins all planted and watered this morning. 🌽🥒🎃

Our fruit trees have finished blossoming and we can see our apples, pears and cherries beginning to grow. 🍏🍎🍐🍒

The gooseberries, raspberries and rhubarb are ready to pick.

We will pop some stakes in at the weekend when the children are safely out the way ☺️

This is why I ask for warm thin jackets for the children and have blankets in the car for them to use.

Whilst it’s still cold and wet I thought I’d also make a post about other types of clothing that isn’t suitable for a car seat. Snow suits, padded pram suits, rain coats and puddle suits and bulky jackets are all a no in the car seat due to them being made from unsuitable fabric which can cause the harness to slip off or by creating bulk of fabric under the harness which can alter the fit! The hoods also bulk up behind the neck and push the head forward meaning the child isn’t sitting back in the seat correctly🧥❄️
