We've been around for a while. But not everyone knows our full story. 💙

If you've been following us for years — thank you. You've seen us grow.

And if you've only just found us — welcome. You're in the right place.

We thought now was the perfect moment, with our freshly updated page, to share where we came from and where we are today.

It started in 2002.

A small but ambitious bilingual French programme for young children in Hampshire. Within a few years, we were coaching 650 children every week across Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

By 2008, we had opened our first full-time premises, expanding into adult programmes and a growing range of foreign languages.

In 2014, we launched i.VICI — our own online language learning platform — and introduced our immersion programmes in France, Italy and Spain.

We then opened an office in France, and more recently, our English school in Windsor, welcoming international students from around the world.

Today, we hold British Council accreditation, we offer programmes in five languages, and we have coached people from age 3 to 93 across multiple countries.

We've won two Best Customer Service Awards. Not because we chased recognition — but because we genuinely care.

This is language immersion…

👉🏻 Day 4 of our Language & Cultural Experience 🇪🇸✨

It’s the moment when something finally clicks - not because you’ve studied harder, but because you’ve lived the language.

Catrin, one of our students, said it beautifully today on the way back from our day out. Sitting together after a long day, she paused and said:
“I’ve been learning Spanish for years… and today, something clicked.”

She went on to explain how certain verb structures - things she had seen again and again in lessons - suddenly made sense. Not in theory, but in real life. In conversation.

That’s what happens when language moves out of the classroom and into the world.

A special day was arranged for our students today.

We left Salamanca by private bus, travelling across the Castilian landscape. Our first stop was Ávila - a stunning medieval town, full of character and quiet charm, where history feels almost untouched.

Then we continued on to Segovia.

The setting there is extraordinary. The architecture, the atmosphere, the rhythm of the town - it creates the perfect environment to use the language.

Not perfectly.
Not academically.
But naturally

And that’s where the shift happens.

A phrase comes more easily.
A structure suddenly makes sense.
A conversation flows.

Not because you’ve tried harder… but because you’ve experienced it.

That’s the difference.

That’s language immersion. 🇪🇸✨🌍

Day 3 🇪🇸

The moment that defined our experience?

Salamanca has already blown us away - the architecture, the cathedral, the university…

But yesterday’s highlight: this.

A truly authentic wine experience, entirely in Spanish - learning how wine is made, understanding Spanish wines, and tasting them in a setting like this.

Because this is where people really see, feel, and live the culture, and the language.

It starts here — in the heart of Salamanca. 🇪🇸

This morning began with our first Spanish lesson, setting the tone for the week ahead.

By lunchtime, we were walking through the old city — discovering the cathedral, the university, and the hidden details that make Salamanca so unique.

A stop at Café Novelty, some free time to explore… and tonight, tapas and flamenco 💃

New faces, different stories, one common goal: to step into the language and make it part of everyday life.

And this is only day one. ❤️🌍

What happens after someone joins a VICI residential programme once?

They come back.

Lisa has already joined us on two of our French 🇫🇷 residential immersions… and she’s already planning her next one.

And she’s not the exception.

We’ve had:

👉🏻 a full group from our very first Valencia 🇪🇸 programme return again (all but one - simply because of work commitments)

That tells you more than any marketing ever could.

These experiences aren’t just “trips” ✨ they become something people want to repeat, deepen, and build on.

Tomorrow, we’re heading to Salamanca 🇪🇸with a new group, and over the next few days, we’ll be sharing more from the experience.
