One year ago today I had my successful registration visit and Reah's Rainbow launched. I am so grateful to be able to do this job and thank all families for choosing my setting to send their children to be cared for.
It is a shared learning experience, the children teach me just as much as I teach them.
I have loved this adventure so far, and look forward to more years ahead. Thank you all! ❤️

Fab Friday! 😁
We have had lots of play around Chinese New year this week, year of the Rabbit!
We listened to the story of the animal race, made our Chinese lanterns, collected and built a rabbit habitat and of course some cuddles with soft toy rabbits.
We had an animal rescue, which turned into some sensory play following the children's lead with the shredded paper! Throwing it in the air and watching it fall to the ground was lots of fun.
We have had some walks in the frost but also some lovely cosy days with the throw, cushions and stories about winter.
Looking forward to more adventures next week 😀

Fab Friday (slightly late)
We have had so many trips out this week, to the river, walking the dog, x2 playgroups and x2 soft play! So many opportunities for outdoor play and interaction with others.
Our new starters continued to settle beautifully and develop friendships.
We've tried new skills and creativity this week, including playdough, painting, threading and tracing, improving those fine motor skills.
We are also making some changes to the playroom to continue the home from home feeling.

Fab Friday!
Happy new year to all my families. We have been so happy to welcome two wonderful new starters this week who did a great job settling into their new surroundings.
We have spent a bit more time at home so we can settle back in for the new year. At home we have played with some new toys, read lots of books and of course had a good old sing along!
We also had a lovely trip down to the river for a walk, the children loved quacking to the ducks and watching the water from the bridge.
We went to our two playgroups for some extra socialisation and exploring new surroundings.
We created some chalk drawings of snowmen to tie into our winter theme.
Looking forward to next week with more adventures 😊
