Ladies and gents, may I introduce you to my new teaching assistant — Lady Cinnamon of Windsor 🐾.
I hadn’t even recovered from the terrible loss of my much-beloved Lady Amber 🐾, who sadly passed away of old age (18½) on March 7, 2023. Given the pain her loss caused for months, I wasn’t quite ready to welcome a new partner in crime.
However, an emergency situation arose when this young calico and her five kittens were abandoned in the street.
Mummy’s babies — now eight weeks old — are in the process of being placed with loving families through the careful screening of a pet charity involved in the case.
But Lady Cinnamon has now officially moved in with me, and she’ll be helping me assess your progress 😂 on your English language learning journey.
She’s rather stern and demanding and, just like Lady Amber, won’t dispense good marks easily.
You’ve been warned 🤣🐾🙂

... as students are on the increase, a video-teaching IT system was due an upgrade. And this newly setup Bluetooth headset with 4 built-in microphones guarantees crystal clear calls without having to raise ones voice ending up disturbing an old Lady 🐾 who, quite often, enjoys snoozing in my current office 😬.
To all those students who have seen Lady Amber crossing the we**am during a lesson 🙄, rest assured she’ll be more relaxed in the future and won’t be as tempted to hijack my teaching in the hope she’ll shut me up 😬.
