We’re proud to be taking part in with Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK 💙

From 13-20 June 2026, we’ll be supporting vital water safety education to help children and young people stay safe around water this summer.

Together, we can empower communities to enjoy water safely and confidently.

During this week, all school swimming and swim school lessons across our swimming pools and outdoor centres, will incorporate lifesaving-focused activities, ensuring that pupils develop essential water safety knowledge alongside their swimming ability.

Lessons will be adapted to include practical, age-appropriate activities, helping all pupils gain critical lifesaving skills and stay safe in and around water.

Great video story thanks to Melland High School Academy who's KS4 and Sixth Form students visited recently. They were all given the opportunity to build independence, resilience and teamwork skills while here in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
