This week Jack and Helen took over the streets of Wi******er asking the general public how they feel about Maths.

The aim was to figure out how peoples relationship with maths changed over the years and how much they use it in their day to day lives.

We met with bankers, carpenters, TV announcers and both A-Level and GCSE students.
Whether you enjoyed maths or not, the general consensus was clear. No matter how what stage of life you are at or what career choices you have made, maths is vital for everything from budgeting, to DIY to dealing with the ever-changing British economy.

How well do you know what your child is up to in Maths?

As we are coming up to the new school year, students are either being sorted into or working on Higher or Foundation level work.
