Plastic plant pot recycling:
UPDATE - Extra site for drop-off
We have added an additional site at Church Green on London Road. The what3words location has been added to our website and interactive map accessible on the below.

Kings Worthy Parish Council is once again hosting drop off points for all your unwanted plastic plant pots with assistance from Ecogen Recycling.
You can bring your plastic (only) plant pots for recycling anytime between 9th May to 30th May. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any pots after 30th May.
Please deposit your pots in the large, marked refuse bags located at:
Broadview, Tovey Place, SO23 7PP
Hookpit Farm Lane, Kings Worthy, SO23 7NA
Church Green, Church Green Close, SO23 7TT

COVID-19 Vaccinations - Dates confirmed!
Chawton Park Surgery will be bringing their COVID-19 vaccination hub back to Kings Worthy Community Centre on Monday 11th & Monday 18th May, between 10am and 2pm.
Anyone who is over 75 years old or immunocompromised is eligible and there is no need to book an appointment.
The vaccination bus will be located in the car park at the rear of Lionel Tubbs Hall & Kings Worthy Community Centre, Fraser Road.

COVID-19 vaccinations
We are very happy to confirm that will be returning to Tubbs Hall at the beginning of May.
People who are over 75, or those who are immunocompromised will be eligible for a vaccination.
We will provide an update as soon as we know the exact dates.

Update on water supply issue at Lovedon Lane Burial Ground
Unfortunately, due to an issue with the water supply apparatus that feeds the standpipe at Lovedon Lane Burial Ground, the water supply remains non-functional.
Repairs works are scheduled but are not estimated to start until 19th April. We sincerely apologise for the disruption to the water supply but unfortunately, we have no control over the timescale for these works.
We will provide updates where possible on our website, page and with site notices.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
