Subject Highlight ✨
Today we wanted to shout about our wonderful Classics course! Through studying the ancient world, from the epic return and revenge of Homer’s Odyssey, to the mythological scenes and sculptures of Greek Art; from the tragedy of promised destiny and bitter duty in Virgil’s Aeneid, to the sly politics of how Julius Caesar didn’t quite become Rome’s first emperor, Classics questions what makes us who we are, and what makes a civilisation... well, civilised!

Huge well done to 46 of our lower sixth Physics students who took part in the British Physics Olympiad!
The Olympiad truly stretches students and helps them to develop their problem solving skills. It provides a different challenge from conventional A level Physics problems and encourages alternative thinking. 💡
Special shout out to the 6 students who achieved Gold Awards, and the 14 who achieved Silver Awards... amazing!
