Google Analytics is getting an upgrade.
Businesses large and small rely on strong analytics to help them better understand their customers needs and preferences.
According to Forrester Consulting, one of the top priorities for marketers is improving their use of analytics to get a better view of their customers online.
Google are making GA more intelligent by putting machine learning at its core. This will highlight useful insights of your customers across multiple devices and platforms.
That’s right it’s going multichannel, so that you can create an omnipresent experience.

Instagram Reels: It’s here.⠀

Reels allows people to record videos up to 15 seconds long and add popular music, as well as an array of filters and effects, over top of them. For creators looking to use Instagram Reels as a new way to build a following, Instagram has revamped its Explore page to create a specific landing spot for Reels at the top of the screen that people can vertically scroll through — similar to TikTok’s “For You Page.”⠀

TikTok: dubbed a ‘data-collection service’⠀

TikTok is having a tough time. The video-sharing platform owned by the Chinese technology giant ByteDance has been banned in India and accused of “spying” in the US. It has also provoked some tension here in the UK. ⠀

Is TikTok plotting to capture your data so it can be mined by Chinese spies? ⠀
⠀
⠀
The truth is more complicated. We happily hand over just as much data to other apps, including many based in Silicon Valley, and much of the same data and content we produce on TikTok is also posted on YouTube and shared through Facebook and Instagram. ⠀

TikTok may have been described as a “data-collection service”, but the same could also be said of other popular social media platforms.⠀

However, being forced out of it’s biggest markets, doesn’t bode well for TikTok’s long-term survival.⠀

Recent figures show that TikTok has 800 million active users worldwide. The app has been downloaded over 2 billion times.⠀
