Help us with our school library!

📚 Our school library is at the heart of learning, imagination, and discovery. It’s where children develop a love of reading, explore new ideas, and build skills that will stay with them for life.

👉🏼 Mr Burbridge has asked the PTA to help keep Western's library inspiring and up to date, so we are inviting families to help us add new books to our shelves, either by paying for a specific book that is on the school's wish list or by donating a sum of money.

👩‍🏫 Our librarian, Mrs Weston-Smith, has collated a list of books for each year group, a mixture of fiction and non-fiction.

💙 Every contribution (big or small) will go directly towards purchasing new books that support the curriculum and encourage a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Saturday 16th May is our yearly colour run!

From 2pm-4:30pm come and join the fun! Participants run or walk the Western Way while showered with coloured powders along the route.

The colour run is open to anyone, not just pupils so bring the whole family!

🌈 The Western PTA Family Colour Run is back on Saturday 16 May 2026, from 2pm.
All Western families are welcome to join us!
Entrance packs remain at £12 each, which includes a white t-shirt for maximum colour impact, a cup of paint powder and a medal.
