Last night we hosted our annual Counselling Progression Event, designed for anyone considering applying for our Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling Based on Transactional Analysis.
It was fantastic to see such a great turnout, with over 60 attendees joining us for the evening. The room was full of energy and enthusiasm, with attendees bringing plenty of thoughtful and engaging questions about course content and what it’s really like to study counselling.
A big thank you to Lori Hedges for delivering an insightful guest lecture introducing the Transactional Analysis modality, giving attendees a valuable glimpse into one of the key theoretical approaches explored throughout the course. We’re also very grateful to Nic Rowthorn and the rest of the Counselling team for sharing their knowledge, experiences, and guidance throughout the event.
Events like this are a great opportunity for prospective students to explore the pathway into counselling training, connect with our teaching team, and gain a clearer understanding of what studying with us involves.
If you weren’t able to attend but would still like to learn more about our counselling degrees, you can explore our website or contact Dom Thompson directly at [email protected] for further information.

At the end of February we had a very special visitor in the office… 🐾
Stanley - an extremely good boy - came to visit and quickly became the highlight of everyone’s day.
He made the rounds visiting our adult learners in their classrooms, where he was especially popular with our LD students. Safe to say he made quite the impression (and received a lot of well-earned fuss).
Stanley brought smiles, laughter, and a much-needed dose of joy to the whole Campus. By the end of the day he had clearly secured his place on the team…
So much so that he’s now the proud owner of his very own ID badge and an important new title: Director of Cute. 🪪
Thank you for brightening our day, Stanley. You’re welcome back anytime!

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news!
Following our recent assessment by the Matrix Standard, we’re proud to announce that we have successfully achieved Matrix Standard accreditation.
This nationally recognised accreditation highlights the quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of our information, advice, and guidance services. It reflects the dedication of our team and our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality support to the people and organisations we work with.
