Compton All Saints' CofE Primary School

Compton All Saints' CofE Primary School Compton All Saints' is a small Church of England primary school on the outskirts of Wi******er, and based in the village of Compton in Hampshire.

We seek to provide education of the highest possible quality in an environment underpinned by Christian beliefs and values, where children from all faiths and none learn how to become good friends, hard workers and confident individuals. We believe that everyone can shine and that our school should be a place where all learners have the encouragement, support and opportunity to do just that. Our core values are compassion, honesty and gratitude. These values form the
basis of the work we do in developing children’s moral and spiritual growth

We have had a fabulous day celebrating VE Day at Compton…..The children shared pictures and stories of relatives who were involved in the war which was so interesting and a great talking point with some very inquisitive questions being asked. We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Danny Chambers MP who joined the children for their special celebratory fish and chip lunch on the playground!

As part of Safer Internet week, we will be sharing something different each day of how we can help keep our children safe online. Today we are focussing on Roblox.
Roblox have recently been forced to improve their internet safety controls. They have published guides on creating a parent account where you can manage your child’s Roblox account, and a parental controls overview. Both can be viewed here.

Hedgehogs have been handling artefacts to find out about homes in the past. The children noticed similarities between some of the items from the past and today but also differences. The children thought about our school value ‘respect’ when handling the artefacts as they were so careful.
