What a day at Wi******er City FC ⚽️🤩

From flag bearers and mascots, to a half time penalty shoot-out and getting autographs at full time, our Barton Farm children did us proud. It was a great afternoon, joining our local community in supporting our city’s team. 💪🏻

👏🏻 Thank you to everyone at the club for this opportunity, and for the positivity and enthusiasm shown towards our BF family.

⚽️ We will be back! ⚽️

What an incredible effort from our girls this afternoon in their first match of the season!

A lot of these girls are at the beginning of their journey as footballers and we are all so immensely proud of how much determination and courage they showed on -for a lot of them- their first time on a football pitch.

We already can’t wait for next week’s match!

Well done and thank you for representing our school so well girls!

⭐ Lights, camera, action! ⭐🎬

Our very own TV stars had the ultimate VIP experience today as they watched themselves appear on The Box gameshow! 🤩

📺 From signing autographs for their friends to taking their seats on their exclusive VIP bench, the excitement was unforgettable. ✍️🌟

There were huge smiles, plenty of cheering, and lots of proud moments as the children saw their hard work and confidence shine on screen. What a fantastic experience and one they will be talking about for a long time! 🎉👏

🟨💜💛 Stepping outside our Barton Farm box 💛💜🟨

🟨 A classroom redesign, mixing with celebrities, game show quizzing - we loved welcoming 'The Box' to Barton Farm! 🟨

We are incredibly proud of how our children embraced the challenge, stepped outside of their comfort zone and brought smiles, laughs and enthusiasm to the TV screen!

Year 6 took part in a wonderful puppet workshop today. We learnt the 3 main steps of puppetry, before making short adventure stories.

We are looking forward to building on this and continuing our journey as puppeteers.

What a way to end the week! 😍

Our Y5/6 boys played out a thrilling 5-5 draw this afternoon whilst wearing our new kit for the first time. ⚽️

As always, it was wonderful to have our school community cheering on the team. 💪🏻
