Foxes have had an amazing time away at Avon Tyrell! What a few days it has been - they have been abseiling, mountain biking, paddle boarding, canoeing, exploring bushcraft, bottle rockets, high ropes and tree top trails! To finish the week, Avon Tyrell were gifted 'Shades by Niko' which all the children received today! A huge well done to all of the children for having a go and challenging themselves and a huge thanks to Mr Robbins and Mr Barraclough for coming with me!
I hope everyone has a great half term break!

I would like to congratulate our wonderful Year 6 children for the fantastic effort they have shown during their SATs this week. They have worked incredibly hard, supported one another and approached each day with a positive attitude. As a well-earned reward, they are going to enjoy a celebratory water fight this afternoon, followed by pizza - much deserved!

Today our amazing Year 6 children completed their first day of SATs, and we could not be prouder of them.
To help settle any nerves and remind them how capable they are, Mr Barraclough, Mr Robbins and I shared a few words of encouragement before the tests began, along with some little good luck treats.
SATs are only a small snapshot of what our children can do, but today our Year 6s showed just how kind, hardworking and determined they truly are. We are incredibly proud of each of them.
Well done, Year 6 — keep believing in yourselves!
