Tutor with Jess

This term I have worked with 14 superstar learners in Years 2 through to 7, from 5 different schools. We work face to face and 1:1 with each lesson as unique as they are. I also support home educated children and those with special needs who receive a bespoke education package.
Next term I currently have one space available, which I’m sure will be snapped up quickly, but do get in touch if you would like to go on the waiting list.

Even as a primary school teacher, I hadn't heard of until about 8-10 years ago. One of my children has been diagnosed with it and I was shocked to discover that even with a formal diagnosis, young people are still required to pass maths GCSE to progress to higher education.

Dyscalculia is a neurodivergent condition that not many people know about. Sending love to those with Dyscalculia.

🌸I'm not sure when it started, but there seems to be blossom everywhere today. Almost like the hawthorn and magnolia know it's 1st March!

So excited whenever I see increased coverage and discussion around Dyscalculia - sometimes known as 'number blindness' or 'maths dyslexia' - a lifelong, congenital neurodiversity that is often masked by about 4 million adults and children in the UK.

One lovely student decided B dog needed a halo as he was such an angel. 😇🐾I love the little side quests that happen occasionally in our sessions!
