We are a large school but organised in a very personal way. We have 1418 students, 250 of them being in our thriving Sixth Form.

Our scale is a great advantage when it comes to the curriculum we offer and the opportunities available to students.

With the high temperatures forecast for tomorrow and Friday, students will not be expected to wear blazers or ties. Students may not wear jumpers in place of their blazer. Students should ensure they have their ARRK cards with them and bring refillable water bottles to keep hydrated.

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Paralympic Champion Liz Johnson to the school yesterday for an incredible day of workshops and inspiration! Our Year 10, 12, and 13 Girls in Business attended a powerful session where they were challenged to
embrace and accept their authentic selves, step up as confident leaders, adapt to change around them and always ensure they always command a voice at the table. In the afternoon, our Year 7 Sports Leaders took center stage. Liz led them through a series of practical challenges designed to sharpen their teamwork and communication skills. Thank you Liz for sharing your invaluable time, unique expertise, and lived experience with our students.

Today, 44 of our Year 12 students headed to the UCAS Discovery Exhibition at the University of Essex.

It was a fantastic opportunity for them to get expert careers advice and speak face-to-face with universities, apprenticeship providers, employers, and UCAS experts about life after school.

Our students represented us brilliantly and left full of inspiration for their next chapters.

A massive thank you to all the incredible local employers, organisations, providers, alumni, parents, and governors who volunteered their time to conduct mock interviews with our Year 10 students on Monday. Your expertise and constructive feedback have given our students a massive confidence boost as they prepare for the professional world and head out on work experience next month. Community collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and we are so grateful for your generosity and investment in our students' futures. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!
