Tora the tiger will be taking part in the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice Mascot race this Sunday at the Cheltenham Racecourse November races!

As a club we truly believe the karate mentality is a lifestyle and we want to continually promote supporting our local community and hope our students can will take that mentality with them wherever they go 💪❤️

UNDER ONE WEEK TO GO!

As many of you may know September the 30th is a big day for the club 💪

Starting at ❗️9am❗️ with a Kuy grading followed by a Black & Brown belt seminar starting at ❗️11am❗️ and ending with a Black belt grading all held by Sensei Simon Bligh & Sensei Paul Uren 🥋

To add to this, it is also the clubs 15TH BIRTHDAY!!! And we would like to invite all attendees of the day, ex members, parents and all to come and celebrate this achievement with us at the Corner Cupboard Winchcombe at ❗️3:30pm❗️ 🎊🥂 It truly takes a dedicated community of people to keep a karate club running for this long, we personally call this community our family so would love the opportunity to celebrate this achievement together ❤️

Gosh we had a crazy weekend with two demonstrations at local festivals! If you have a local event that you would like us to do a demo at them DM us 🥋🙏

Well what a day!

The 2023 Shotokan Tora Charity Competition is now over and we can’t believe how well it’s gone! We are so close to £500 for Young Gloucestershire so before you keep reading if you can donate even just £1 we would be so grateful to smash out target!!!!

We need to say the biggest thank you to so many people but especially Amanda Gisby, Robey Jenkins, Daniel Pope, Adam Higgins, Angie Appleton and Emma Shakespeare. Without you all we wouldn’t have been able to have kept to such a tight schedule.

To all of the parents that came early, baked cakes (hundreds of them!!), manned the refreshments stand, brought there own mugs, marshalled outside and so much more… again we can’t thank you enough for your unconditional, friendship and support.

This little club has been our baby for years and to see it and it’s student flourish with other clubs confirms that karate is family…Osu!!!🥋

We couldn’t be prouder of our students today 💪

Yesterday they took part in Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice Spring Fayre all to help raise vital funds for people and their families going through end of life care💙

It’s not easy to go up in front of lots of strangers and do a sport that is uncommon, but our students demonstrated brilliant karate, projected confidence and did their club proud 💪🥋👏
