We have the highest aspirations for every student, enabling them to embrace opportunities and achieve their ambitions. We are a strong community who celebrate the learning, wellbeing and successes of all. As a smaller than average school, of only 500 pupils, we are well placed to unlock their passions and interests. We have an experienced and skilled group of staff who care passionately about developing young people both academically and pastorally. Our values are focused on the importance of aspiring – Attitude, Stewardship, Pride, Integrity, Resilience, Enjoyment and Success. We look for our students to live out these values each day. We want our students to develop into fully rounded citizens. We want all students to build strong skills in Literacy and Numeracy to make sure they have access to the widest opportunities. Our curriculum is designed to ensure a breadth of choice, supporting students to seek out new interests. As a popular and growing school, we have seen recent investment in our facilities: we now boast a refurbished Dining Hall and Auditorium. Our sporting facilities are exceptional with a Sports Centre; access to a full size 3G Astroturf pitch, alongside a wealth of open fields. We have a well-developed, and extensive, careers and enrichment programme that offers pupils opportunities to explore their ideas for the future and experience different places. On Tuesday 3rd November 2026 Winchcombe School will be hosting a Fireworks Display, with fireworks by Titanium Fireworks Ltd.

Tickets are available to purchase via MCAS.

Please note that this is not a public event. Tickets are only available to Winchcombe School students and their families.
