🌱⛳ 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 – 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟓𝐓𝐇 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍 💧

A little update for our members and visitors on the work that has been taking place at Wincanton Golf Course.

We’re pleased to say that the 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧! 🎉

💧 The new system will allow us to:
• Water the green more efficiently
• Irrigate at the optimum times of day
• Make the best use of available water
• Help maintain the health and quality of the green, particularly through challenging weather conditions

We’ve also been carefully managing our green maintenance programme, with work being timed around the weather and ground conditions to give the greens the best opportunity to recover and remain healthy heading into the autumn and winter.

🌱 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦.

A big thank you to all our members and visitors for your 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 while this work has been carried out. We really appreciate it!

Keep an eye out for further updates as we continue to improve and maintain the course. ⛳💚
