If you have a child eligible for government-funded early years childcare in England, you will need to apply NOW for your child to take up their funded hours from September. The deadline to apply for the autumn term is 31 August.

🌞 We will be remaining open throughout this heatwave as we are very lucky to have air conditioning in our playroom and office!

We need your help with the following:

1. Lunchboxes

Please can you make sure that you put an icepack in your child's lunchbox.

2. Clothing

Please can children wear either lightweight, short sleeved t-shirts (shoulders must be covered), shorts, skirts or cotton loose fitting dresses. No winter coats, tights, leggings, jumpers, hoodies or cardigans please.

3. Hats and sunscreen

Please send your child with a NAMED cap/hat and apply Factor 50+ sunscreen before pre-school. We will re-apply throughout the day. We have plenty of Factor 50+ (sensitive) here so you do not need to bring any in.

We really appreciate your help with all the above.

Please be assured that drinks bottles are re-filled throughout the day!

Please stay safe! 🌞🌞

We will be doing all we can to keep your children safe and healthy in these very high temperatures. This includes air conditioning (so lucky!), changes and limiting the amount of time children can go outside, constant access to water and switching off lights wherever possible. There will be lots of water play spare clothes are essential please. Even though children are encouraged to wear aprons they can still get very wet! We will continue with these measures but we really need your help with the following:
