Huge SLS welcome to the latest (and final) new member of our team! Beautiful Kelvin!!!! Young Kelvin is joining us for eduction provided by my brilliant working pupils Emma and Mia! I’m hoping Kelvin will come to be an amazing riding school pony in the future!

Well Senior Camp 2026…. You were epic!

Full of; Woodland rides, birds of prey, swimming, dressage, cross country, show jumping, camping, delicious suppers, yummy breakfasts, epic long hacks, twilight ride, 3am tent ponies, quizzes, tack cleaning, poo picking, muck heap making and much much more!

Our two superb rides worked so well together throughout the three days of our residential camp.

PINK RIDE 🩷 consisted of Emily C and Milo/Cole, Ronny K and Troy, and Issy C on Millie; led by their instructor Emma Whitfield

BLUE RIDE 💙 consisted of Grace H and Rex/Sprite, Isabel B and Fagin, and Scarlett R on Molly; led by their instructor Jess Brewer

Unfortunately the rather unexpected torrential rain today meant the planned Combined Training competition has had to be postponed but that hasn’t deterred our riders.

Our prize giving highlighted how supportive and strong our riders are this year. I’m so delighted that they adore their ponies as much as I do!

And just like that, Junior Camp 2026 is over!

What a camp it has been! 9 amazing riders and ponies reaching such dizzying heights of confidence and progression that it’s almost unbelievable! So proud of each of these guys!

We have had an awesome 1.5hr picnic ride, riding and road safety training and test, combined training competition, birds of prey, show preparation, quizzes and as always with Junior Camp, everything in between. They have looked after their ponies, brought them in, turned them out, cleaned their stables/areas and their tack as well as achieving personal goals and milestones along the way!

A massive well done to all of the riders and especially 💚 GREEN RIDE 💚 (Olivia B, Scarlett R and Bonnie D) who won the magnificent Instructors Trophy this year for their support of each other!

The MOST IMPROVED 🏆trophy this year goes to Bailey G from Blue Ride 💙for her outstanding confidence growth with Sprite!

The TURNOUT TROPHY 🏆 goes to Bea L from Pink Ride 🩷 for her brilliant tidiness of her area, tack and general grooming of Fagin!

Thank you as always to my brilliant team; Eileen, Nyah and Evie - also help from Jess on the first day. I cannot do it without you all!

We have had a brilliant start to our Summer Camps!

Mini Camp 2026 has been such a fantastic experience for our fab riders gaining so much confidence and progression in the two fun-packed days.

We’ve had grooming, painting, arts and crafts, scavenger hunting, picnic rides, clear round jumping, tack cleaning, farrier demo, points of the horse, a visit from the brilliant Feathered Occasions with their fabulous birds of prey! And soooo much more!

Huge thanks to instructor Kim and utterly awesome helpers Emily C and Iesha S and let’s not forget marvellous ponies Mouse and Zircon (and Poppy who stepped in after Mouse became Cinderella overnight 🙄)

🐴✨ BACK IN THE SADDLE – ADULT CONFIDENCE COURSE ✨🐴

Following on from our previous fully booked courses, we’re delighted to announce another 6-week Back in the Saddle course! 💚

Have you always wanted to learn to ride, but never quite taken the plunge? Or perhaps you used to ride and would love to get back in the saddle, but your confidence isn’t quite what it used to be?

Our relaxed 6-week adult-only confidence course could be just what you’re looking for.

📅 Every Wednesday for 6 weeks
✨ Starting Wednesday 9th September
⏰ 11.30am – 1.00pm
💷 £220 for the full 6-week course

This isn’t just about riding! Over the six weeks we’ll help you build confidence in all aspects of being around horses, including:

🐴 Stable management
🪮 Grooming
🏇 Tacking up
🌿 Arena riding
🌳 Hacking

With small groups of no more than 4 riders, you’ll have plenty of individual support and time to learn at your own pace.

Our aim is to create a quiet, friendly and pressure-free environment, with calm, well-schooled horses to help you feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, new to horses, returning to riding after a long break, or simply feeling a little rusty, you’ll be very welcome. ❤️

The final workshop morning of the summer holidays was held this morning at The Grange; this time the jumping masterclass with our brilliant instructor, Emma. Despite the heat, our fab riders worked on their lines and striding! We bailed out earlier than planned because of the temperatures but Emma also had a sneaky ride on the delightful Kelvin ;)

Tomorrow marks our last of our fun packed Pony Fun Day of the summer holidays because our camps are looming ever closer! We have been fully booked for each one with waiting lists on all! Such a great way for children to experience their own pony for a day which fun, games, education and riding playing a pivotal role!

I am so blessed with a brilliant team that make these events possible! Especially in this colossal heat!
