The final weeks of term were filled with unforgettable moments, and Sports Day was certainly one of the highlights.

From the very first race to the final event, our pupils demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and commitment. Every challenge was met with enthusiasm, resilience and a genuine desire to do their very best.

The atmosphere throughout the day was truly special. Parents, families and friends gathered to cheer on every competitor while enjoying picnics, freshly prepared salads, burgers, ice creams and delicious pancakes, creating a wonderful sense of community.

Perhaps the greatest achievement of the day was the outstanding sportsmanship on display. Pupils encouraged one another, celebrated each other's successes and worked together with kindness, respect and team spirit, perfectly embodying the values that make Castle Court so special.

Congratulations to every pupil who took part. You made us all incredibly proud.

Speech Day is one of the most treasured occasions in the Castle Court calendar, bringing our entire school community together to celebrate the end of another exceptional academic year.

From honouring our departing Year 8 and Year 6 pupils to celebrating the years achievements, the day reflected the spirit, ambition and sense of community that define life at Castle Court. As part of a much-loved school tradition, every pupil was presented with a new book to add to their personal collection, celebrating our commitment to nurturing a lifelong love of reading.

The day was filled with outstanding musical performances, confident singing debuts and many memorable moments, providing pupils with the opportunity to shine, celebrate their talents and create lasting memories.

Each year, we are privileged to welcome a former Castellan as our guest speaker. This year, acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Sam Stewart returned to Castle Court to share his remarkable journey, inspiring pupils with his passion, resilience and encouragement to pursue their own ambitions with confidence and curiosity.

As another wonderful year draws to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our pupils, families and staff for making the Castle Court community so special. We wish everyone a happy, restful and adventure-filled summer, full of treasured moments with family and friends, and look forward to welcoming you all back in September for another exciting chapter at Castle Court.

A lovely visit from one of our teacher’s beautiful dogs, Tilly!

Our Year 5 pupils enjoyed some relaxing wellbeing time with Tilly during their break, taking the opportunity to unwind, chat, and enjoy her calm and friendly company. Spending time with animals can help reduce stress, encourage positive interactions, and bring lots of smiles and Tilly certainly brightened everyone’s day!
