Here at the Old School Nursery we open from 7.45-6pm closing only for bank holidays and over Christmas. We offer wonderful space inside & outside for our precious children. Birds & Bees 3 months -2 years
Caterpillars 2 years- 3 years
Butterflies 3 years-5 years

Our fees include all nappies/creams and baby milk. All our meals are freshly homemade on the premises and we cater for all allergies.

We have been a bit quiet on our page of late, we wanted to share with you that we have all been processing the very sad news that one of our beloved team members Denise sadly passed away over the summer after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. This weekend we came together to celebrate her life and share stories of our friendship. Denise you will always be remembered for all the love you brought to the baby room, for your crazy work ethic, love of family and your horses and for your legendary flapjacks and brownies! Missed but never forgotten 💔

Just look at the wonderful weaving happening at our Forest School, this child is noticing and following the pattern of weaving. She is able to see when things go wrong and go back and correct her mistakes and feel a huge sense of pride when she has completed her task.

🎨Our budding Artists in the Caterpillar room have spent their first week exploring our exciting new toddler process art area. With an inital provocation from the grownups of some beautiful bird song playing in the back ground, some feathers and some paints, the children quickly got to work mixing the different materials to create a work of art. The children enjoyed working at different heights, realising it wasn't just their hands that made marks!🫟
The team quickly spotted the children's interest in making marks and tracks, and so provided the children with a road set up the following day, allowing the children to make patterns and trails across the floor, encouraging both fine motor and gross movement skills in our caterpillars.🎨

☀️🌳Another wonderful week spent at our Forst School holiday club. We have made potions, crafted our own woodwork models, explored the scented playdough, been on trips around the village, created a masterpiece at the paint station, had tug of war matches, lots of water fights, cooked our snacks on the fire and had lots and lots of fun! We hope to see you all back in the Summer holidays🌳☀️

☀️☀️With the sunshine and high temperatures forecast to last for the rest of the week, please can all families attending our May Nature Explorers Holiday club this week please pack the following:
•sun hat 🧢
•suncream
•light long sleeved tops and long trousers (please no shorts or short sleeved t-shirts
•plenty of drinking water
•cool packs in lunchboxes 🧊
•extra clothes for water fights💦

We still have some spaces on Tuesday and a Thursday, please get in touch for a booking form or more information.

🌱🌷Spring has Sprung🍄☀️

What a wonderful time we have had at our Nature Explorers Holiday Club. It's been so lovely to welcome back children who left our nursery for the start of their school adventure in September, along with some happy new faces.

We have enjoyed lots of crafts, used different types of tools, tasted new things, cooked on the fire, planted seeds, shared our music with the cows and explored the natural environment on woodland walks.

If this sounds like the type of holiday club your child would enjoy then please keep an eye on our page as we will be releasing our May Half Term dates very shortly!
