Hi Woollies
Im now on my way back from my lovely time away all refreshed .
Ready for lots of new classes I have planned and just wanted to give customers plenty of time to book.
There are some fun beginner crochet classes and lots of festive crochet fun🎄

All of the events I’m running are listed on my page individually (under the events tab) but I’ll do a little summary of what’s on offer for the rest of the year:

I have some more beginners 2 part crochet classes.
Week One learn how to make a bookmark and keep nice straight edges and week two master granny squares and changing colour.
£54 per person
🧶Sat 24th & 31st October in Wimborne Garden Centre from 12.30-3pm .

🧶Also Monday 2nd & 9th November at
The Olive Branch, Wimborne from 10-12.30pm.

Fun Festive Crochet workshops are £28 each all from 10-12pm at The Olive Branch

🎄Fri 27 Nov Christmas tree crochet class.

🎄Mon 30 Nov Christmas baubles crochet class .

🧶🧵🪡Oh and please don’t forget our WoollyWimborne free social craft group meeting on Sat 31 October from 10-12pm and then the last Saturday of each month at Wimborne Garden Centre. Grab a cuppa at the cafe and come and meet new crafty friends!

A very interesting visit to a Turkish carpet making workshop - made with pure silk from the cocoons. Hand woven with Turkish double knots . Some of the largest carpets take up to eight years to complete . Each weaver can only work for 2 hours a day as it is such hard work on their fingertips . Needless to say we couldn’t afford the £12,000 🙄for even a small one . They are so beautifully soft.

It’s National Yarn Day & World Mental Health day ! My current PHD (project half done - or quarter done ) This is how far one 100g ball of firefly gets you 🧶🤔. Coming along very nicely but I now have 4 days of trips coming up so may have to take a little crochet break 🌞😀
I would hope anyone in my woolly crochet community recognises the importance of crochet for mental health.

Winnie’s outing to Palermo & Cefalu. Another headstand and checking out where the ladies of the town used to do their washing in the natural springs. Winnie was washing her fig leaves 🍃although no need now she has pants 🩲😜
