The children have been exploring how the cold weather can effect things, we experimented by blowing bubbles and watched them freeze, tried banging the ice with hammers and had a go at painting on ice 🧊 the cold weather has made us think about the birds 🐦 so we have been making bird feeders for them!

Spring is in the air 🐣🐰🌻 🐛🦋 we are learning about new life which spring brings, new flowers in the garden and creating wonderful pictures and we have some new caterpillars which we are observing and learning the story "The very hungry caterpillar"

Wow such a busy month January was, lots of exploration of sensory play and learning how ice melts, learning about stars and the children have painted their own version of Van Gogh "starry night" and all this week we have been celebrating Chinese New year 🐰🌟🌌❄️
