🍦 WANTED: A Cool Gift for a Great Cause! 🍦

Owls’ Explorers Walk: A Journey of Discovery

Owls, our youngest class, had a wonderful time on their explorers' walk this week! Their journey took them through the woods, across the green, up to the church, and over to the dairy. Along the way, the children collected "memory markers" in every space to help them recall their route for their writing back at school the next day.

As a special treat for those tired legs, the group stopped at the dairy for ice cream. The children even paid for their own treats, allowing them to practice their conversation skills and gain real-life experience using money.

By the time they returned to school, those little legs were certainly worn out! We are always proud of our children, but never more so than when they display such curiosity on an outing and represent our school so beautifully.

We’re delighted to share that blue t**s have begun nesting in our on-site bird boxes. Mrs Lloyd, a qualified bird ringer, is carefully monitoring the boxes for us.

We’re always keen to make the most of moments like these, using them to inspire the children and deepen their understanding of the wonderful wildlife that surrounds our school.

The Owls were blessed with a glorious, sun-drenched day for their adventure to Dumpton School yesterday with friends from Withcampton First School! ☀️🦉

The group dove straight into some pond dipping, successfully catching newts and snails while exploring the water's edge. 🦎🐌 They also spent time wandering through the beautiful school grounds, keeping a sharp eye out for signs of summer and vibrant natural life. 🌸🌿 It was the perfect day for discovery and sunshine! ✨

Students from the Stags class recently participated in an interschool Netball event at QE school. During the afternoon, they demonstrated exceptional teamwork and attentiveness, effectively representing our school's values. The students engaged positively with peers from other schools, showcasing their collaborative skills and sportsmanship. 🏐 Their performance highlighted the importance of communication and mutual support in team activities. 🤝
